Scott Sigler will be our guest on the first video Sword and Laser. We'll be recording the interview this Tuesday.

If you've got questions for Scott, put them in this thread and we'll choose some to ask him!

I'm sure I'll think of more questions when my brain isn't fried, but for authors I haven't read, I always want to know what they think readers should start with.

Love your work Scott. I am officially a Junkie. Big fan since you first podcast Earthcore.

When can we look forward to Mt. Fitzroy?

and when will the F.D.O become the D.O ?

Tamahome | 7230 comments Your writing seems simple and clear. What kind of style are you trying to achieve?

message 5: by Ross (new)

Ross | 1 comments Scott, I have been a big fan for years now and Nocturnal has always been my favorite of your books. What changes to the original story can we look forward to reading and is there still a chance for a sequel.

Junkie for life. Long live The FDO!

Tom Merritt | 1 comments Scott-

This does seem very relevant to this podcast and other aspects of your book writing... Have you learned how to spell "Merritt" correctly yet? And do you know which Tom you are speaking with today?

Cheers & Beers from Oxford!

Neil (nilling) | 1 comments Can you explain why Nocturnal has undergone a big rewrite/revamp? I've completely avoided listening to the the original podcast so I can be blown away again, by one of my fave SS stories...

Dennis | 1 comments I attended one of the Tour stops you had for the Rookie and I remember you bringing up the success of cell phone novels over seas and you predicted that cheap bite sized fiction would become popular in America as well. Since then e-readers have taken off, and most phones have access to ebooks. With that in mind how has your approach to ebooks changed.

Travis Ellis | 2 comments Scott-

I'm excited to see the changes in the new version of Nocturnal. Can you give any examples of changes you made? Any chance of another Cryptmas or better yet Cryptmas in July? Not that I'm biased.

Tamahome | 7230 comments He just explained the Nocturnal rewrite on ISBW. He had written and podcasted it one chapter at a time, and it had a lot of plot problems.

Cameron Scott! How come none of the creatures in any of your novels shoot frickin' laser beams out of their eyes?!? That would be SO cool... Just sayin'...
