RP All the actors should be the right age...11 and 12!

Hannah literally everything but the boy who played percy should be changed. i was soooo sad when i saw the movie. :(

Sarah Grover and Annabeth were terrible! I don't really care that they made Grover black, but they totally messed up his character, and Annabeth's too... grr... and they didn't even add the main bad guy, or the biggest fight scene!
If they had made it five years ago, Logan Lerman would've been perfect, but I don't know of anybody that would work now.

Well, I don't know about PERFECTLY, but I want them to do it better, although I must say of the..."

Yeah, if they want a good film they should do The Last Olympian or something. And if they did, do it right (and I know that that's skipping a lot of books but TLO has the most action and just ends so awesomely lol)

Darlene My gosh yes, they should remake this movie. And actually stick to the plot of the books. With actual 12 year olds. I think the rest of the cast is fine though. And Luke.

Kayla The movie was a little boring. My mind kept wandering. And everything was different! Percy snuck out of Camp Half-Blood instead of being sent on a mission, Grover stayed behind in the Underworld, and they left out whole parts, like the chimera and the Fury attacks. There were no fights with the Ares cabin (I loved the part in the book when the toilets exploded on them!) and Ares wasn't in it at all...

Alyssa Ikr and the whole battle on top of the skyscrapers and Luke being jealous of Percy instead of wanting revenge on the gods. Like, if they followed the book, they could've had something totally suspenseful leading up to the next movies.

They why are you commenting on this discussion board? Go find another discussion where they're talking about disliking the series.

Thank you I was waiting for someone to say that. I would have did it myself but I didn't want to get involved.

Katie When I was in the 6th grade, and like the rest of the 6th graders, loved those books, I thought that the grey eyed, light brown haired, slightly attractive in a rugged way boy who sat across from me should have played Percy. Unfortunately, he didnt and now he's too old so oh well. Also when I was in 6th grade, there was a girl with blonde hair and grey eyes who reminded me of Annebeth but like the guy, she's too old now...

Josey Logan is perfect, but Annabeth should be blonder, smaller, and smarter looking.

Becky I'm not sure about the casting, but they could at least make the characters twelve years old like theyre SUPPOSEDTO BE. It ruins the whole prophecy since Percy is supposed to be sixteen in The Last Olympian, but he looks sixteen in the Lightning Thief. Messed up.

Angela I thought that both movies were horrible. If they remake the movie, I really hope they will change the entire cast. I did not like any of the actors.

Asmita I think they should have stuck with the book. Like putting actual 11 or 12 year olds in action. I didn't like Alexandra Daddario as Annabeth because she didn't have a look of the daughter of Athena. She was rather like a daughter of Aphrodite. Logan Lerman wasn't the best actor for Percy. He didn't have anything similar apart from his hair.
I suggest you read the graphic novel.

Angela How dare you hate the book!

Cyrus (From my memory) I would've liked them to stick closer to what happened in the book. I get that you can't fit an entire book into a normal length movie, but I feel like they skipped over really good parts of the book and replaced with scenes that kinda cheapen the journey. I'd also like to see the cast be younger than what they were in the movie. The remake of "IT" showed that kid actors can be just as good as adult actors, pretending to be kids.

Lara I'm also hoping that they also do a remake of the movie and really just start over again and change the entire cast that will fit the character description in the books. Even Rick Riordan was upset with what they did in the movie. They should stick with the books plot. They changed almost everything. Especially about Silena Beauregard.
