Sum I know that in Catching Fire a lot(or most) of the tributes were actually mentors of the tributes from last year when Katniss also participated so does that mean that like Finnick was mentoring his tribute that time to go in that same Hunger Games or was it someone else? He and probably the others had seen Katniss and Peeta and probably cheered agaisnt them right?

Love Music 4ever Mrs.Effie Fuentes I thought said he was a mentor in the 74th Hunger Games

yes:/ sorry my english:/

Kath Finnick was from a Career district, so there would have been plenty of other, older victors to be mentors. I'm sure that some of the others were mentors though, yes. However, the mentors don't ever mix with the tributes from other districts, so they never would have crossed paths with Katniss and Peeta in the first one.

Kath Johanna was the only female victor from her district though (like Katniss). So she definitely had been a mentor. I kind of get the impression though, that she wouldn't have bothered caring a whole lot. She probably hadn't paid any attention to Katniss and Peeta...they were just from district 12, and I don't think her tribute lasted very long anyway.

I thought only 1,2, and maybe 3 were career districts?

It was possibly Finnick. The other districts all had more victors than #12 did, so they'd be able to switch it up every year. Haymitch just always got stuck doing it because he was the only one before Peeta and Katniss.
