From the outside, the circus is full of enchantments and delights, but behind the scenes, the delicate push and pull of the competition results in some sinister events: i.e. Tara Burgess and Friedrick Thiessen’s deaths. How much is the competition at fault for these losses and how much is it the individual’s doing?

In neither case is the individual at fault. Tara was simply asking questions, which she had every right to do. Friedrick did nothing, he was completely a victim of Hector. The competition was at fault, but again, really it was Alexander and Hector who were to blame.

Again I thought this was a strange question. I didn't feel like the push and pull was delicate. I didn't feel like there was much regard for human life. I felt like two people who loved the circus had to lose there lives in order to amuse two selfish people (Hector and Alexander). They were the individuals to blame.
