I have stolen a number of books actually from bookstores and libraries. I admit it but I will not admit the number. Something between 2 to 1000. Hahaha =P Guess!

Lauryn April (laurynapril) I've actually never done anything really evil to get a book. My mom was pretty good a buying me whatever I wanted when I was growing up and kindle has made getting a new book whenever I want waaaay too easy... however I have 'borrowed' a number of books from friends and liked them too much to return them. But, I figure if they havn't really noticed that they're gone then they're better off with me anyway.

E. Milan (EMilan) | 8 comments I feel kinda boring now. I haven't really done anything bad that I can think of. I usually would get the books I wanted, maybe some I read in the store. I generally would just buy too many books and collect them. I think I propped the Borders up near me for a while.

Hahahaha me too.... That is called Oblivious Borrowing hahahah =P But when it comes to me, I do not forget if someone borrows a book of mine. They are all my children so I nag them all the time until they get it back. Or sometimes if a friend asks for the book back, I say it got lost. Or was stolen. Or any other lies hahaha

Well good thing you have the money to get them. Me I was just a poor boy =P But actually I have stolen books that I could actually afford. Meaning the were barely $0.20 but I still stole them for the fun of it. Books talk to me. They want to go home with me =P

E. Milan (EMilan) | 8 comments I know what you mean, they talk to me to. I don't know if I could afford them, I bought them anyway (:, I think I have a compulsion when it comes to books.

me i am a hoarder... i buy books (or steal them) by tens. i think 5 books is the smallest number I buy (or steal) whenever I go to the mall or a bookstore.

Jason Ray Carney (jrcarney52) One time I solicited a publisher and said I was considering using a book in a class I was teaching and therefore I needed a free review copy; actually, I just wanted to read the book. The book came, I read it, and, feeling guilty, I returned it. Afterwards, I bought a copy. No lie. My conscience got the best of me. I could have kept it though. That's somewhat evil, yes?

E. Milan (EMilan) | 8 comments That's a great story. I probably would've done the same thing. Ingenious idea though.

how many books do u have... i have at least 600 all genres, art books, text books, dictionaries, like a small bookstore. =P and the magazines and non-printed books are not counted of course. Only the "real" books

Josh Karaczewski (joshkaraczewski) | 1 comments At my local library's annual book-sale, they don't charge teachers if they show ID. I admit that some books that no self-respecting continuation-school student would consider reading has ended up in my bag, and hasn't made it into my classroom, yet...

message 18: by E. (new)

E. Milan (EMilan) | 8 comments Nice josh, I think we all have some of those types of books.
