when can I add a book

I have just been granted a librarian status. However, when I try to click on Manually add a book the red message still pops up "Sorry, only members with verified email addresses may create book records. "

I wonder if I need to wait for 24 hrs or something for this to be activated.

Adding books has nothing to do with having librarian status or not. Go and check your profile and make sure to verify your email address again - sometimes the system seems to forget that, even if you already did it. Happened to me, too.
