Ryeleigh (imaginationist) Hi

message 2355: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) Whats up?

message 2356: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) No, silly, the sky is up

message 2357: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) A ceiling sounds so much like your in a cage

message 2358: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 1100 comments No, silly, that is a paradox. Nothing is up.

message 2359: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) No, silly, that is wrong, my spirits are up

message 2360: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 1100 comments I am talking literally. Physically, there is nothing up.

message 2361: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) No, silly, nothing is impossible, the word it self says im possible

message 2362: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 1100 comments No, things are impossible. I am talking about Physics. It may seem like nothing is impossible, but that is not true. And that is not an opinion, but a fact, and you cannot say no with facts, which is also a fact.

message 2363: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) Haha, here is a fact: nothing is impossible, let physics be physics, it is true nothing in this whole entire earth is impossible, unlikey, yes, impossible, no.

A quote i found: Impossible? Impossible is a word for those who haven't tried it, or give up, don't try again, for those that don't beleive in magic. I don't beleive there is any such place where things are impossible, because if so why live?

message 2364: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 1100 comments Actually, the fact is that impossible is the word for those who have tried. I can explain Quantum Physics if you don't already know it to explain myself, if you want.

message 2365: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) Maybe impossible is for those who have tried, BUT, they just didn't try hard enough.

I honestly beleive if you really set your mind to it anything is possible.

I've learned that many people say things r impossible, so I try it out for myself, and with a few failures, I actually get it, its no longer impossible

message 2366: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 1100 comments No, that is not true, they have tried hard enough. It is factual; if you say no, it is still true.

There was this Physicist with this cat. He placed the cat in a box with poison, and there was a 50% percent chance the poison would kill the cat and a 50% chance it would not. That means that until they opened the box, the cat was alive and dead.

message 2367: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) Ya, so its not impossible that the cat would live and not impossible the cat would die. So nothing is impossible, and your not convincing me otherwise.

Have they really tried hard enough? How do u know?

One time, a long time ago, my teacher said to us " you know how your parwnts tell you, nothing is impossible, that if you set your mind to it, you can acheive anything? Well im here to tell you that their wrong, you cant do everything, even if you set your mind to it." Out of pure disbeleif i spoke up " what? Thats wrong! Nothing is impossible" he repied and said " yes there are things that r impossible" "no" "yes" and we went back and forth saying no and yes, until finally he said " no, if you wanted to fly to mars you couldn't, you'd burn up before you got there" and to which I replied " at least I would die trying"

So no, they have not tried hard enough. Its unlikley, but still possible

message 2368: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 1100 comments What I am saying is, although nothing is impossible, only certain things are possible in certain universes.

message 2369: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) I understand what your saying, but I do not agree with it

message 2370: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 1100 comments You should, I think. It agrees with what you are saying.

message 2371: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) No. Anything is possible...........……

message 2372: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 1100 comments Yes. It says that. And it is a fact, and the thing about facts is, no matter how many times you say they are not true, they still are. They are there, even if we dislike them.

message 2373: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) Facts are still based off opinions

message 2374: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 1100 comments No. They are based of truth. Christopher Columbus came to America is not an opinion.

message 2375: by Ryeleigh (last edited Jan 26, 2013 01:30PM) (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) Maybe not, but the opinion is if it was really america, we dont know, everything was such confusion back then, and now its even more confusion.... Another fact: tomas jefferson was president, opinion: tomas jefferson was president. Why is it an opinon, because its the opinon of the ones that elected him president, that he is president

Its the opinion of another that americais called america, do you understand where im going with this?

message 2376: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 1100 comments Yes. No, it is a fact. It is a fact that people had their opinion to elect him. It is not saying that he was good, it is saying that others said he was good enough to be president. Even though it was not considered America, it is still where it was.

message 2377: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Nope. Haven't changed my mind

message 2378: by Breanna (new)

Breanna | 665 comments Ummmmmmm

I'm confused!?!?!?!?!?!?!

message 2379: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 1100 comments But, still, facts are facts, opinions and opinions, and opinions do not effect facts. It is always a truth, even if you never change your mind.

message 2380: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 1100 comments Breanna wrote: "Ummmmmmm

By?

message 2381: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) Opinions do effect facts though!!!!

Breanna, were having a heated disscusion :P

message 2382: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 1100 comments No, they don't. Facts stand for factual, which literally means non-opinionated.

message 2383: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) Haha, and thats an opinion to, words are just opinionated, even the word opinion

message 2384: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 1100 comments I can prove it.

George Washington was elected president: Fact.

George Washington must be an amazing person because he was elected president: Opinion.

Fraud is a crime in the US: Fact.

Fraud is a horrible thing to do: Opinion.

message 2385: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 1100 comments Ryeleigh wrote: "Haha, and thats an opinion to, words are just opinionated, even the word opinion"

No, it is not an opinion, it is the literal meaning of factual created by a person.

message 2386: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) Opinions hahaha, those were all made opinions!!!!!

Im aorry, your still not changing my mind, different results for different people

message 2387: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) Yes, and i can create a word an many people can have opinons on it, on what it means!!!! Everything is based on an opinion

message 2388: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 1100 comments Yes, they are facts, and the others are opinions.

I am not trying to change your mind; I am using evidence that is impossible to say know to. Even if you disagree, I am correct.

message 2389: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 1100 comments Ryeleigh wrote: "Yes, and i can create a word an many people can have opinons on it, on what it means!!!! Everything is based on an opinion"

Um, no. Everyone may have opinions, but things still happen. It is a fact that I am writing this comment, not an opinion.

message 2390: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) Thats your opinion. Im correct, and that was mine.

Everything is based off an opinion. Heck, im based off an opinion

message 2391: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 1100 comments Ryeleigh wrote: "Thats your opinion. Im correct, and that was mine.

No, that is not my opinion, that is my fact.

message 2392: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) Your fact? Whch is based off an opinon.

message 2393: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 1100 comments My opinion? What is that?

message 2394: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) That u r correct :)

message 2395: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 1100 comments I never said that. I said the fact was that I wrote a comment, I never said that I was talking about the sanctity of it. And I know i am correct, which is not an opinion, a fact.

message 2396: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) One of the many beauties of this world, is that no one is right or wrong

message 2397: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 1100 comments Actually, it does, but only for certain things, like opinions. It is right, or correct, that I am writing a post. It is neither write or wrong that this post is the best post on goodreads. Also, you never responded to me saying "I never said that. I said the fact was that I wrote a comment, I never said that I was talking about the sanctity of it."

message 2398: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) Truly, no one is right or wrong, and it has to do with everything, even an an answer on a test

message 2399: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 1100 comments It is a fact that some things are correct or incorrect, and I did not ask that. I asked, what is your response to "I never said that. I said the fact was that I wrote a comment, I never said that I was talking about the sanctity of it."

message 2400: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) Im now confused....
