Where do you live?

It started at 8 pm last night and lasted throughout the night, and we're supposed to keep getting snow flurries through the afternoon. Apparently it's Gulf moisture. Part of why it stuck so well was that the ground was thoroughly frozen from getting to 22 Saturday night. Funny, we're further south than you are!

We have over over five inches of snow here-some places have ten, others eight, depending on where you live. This snow bird is really happy!

Did you say you're near Little Rock? That's almost straight east of us-- slightly north, actually. I'm in far southern Oklahoma, almost at the Texas border.

Yes. So you're near Wilhelmina State Park? My family took a quick day trip out there to hike a few years ago.

I've never heard the term "glare ice", but we get black ice fairly often.

No... Probably about 5 hours away from there, actually.

When we get ice it's often an ice storm. A few years ago, we had ice as big around as coke cans on the electric lines causing lines & poles to break & fall. Lots of big trees just split in half. Some people were without electric for 6+ weeks. It's not usually that bad, but it can be.
I see. Interesting... I think I'd rather have that than have patches of black ice that kinda sneek up on ya.
Hail in winter? No... In spring & summer? Definitely! And it can get big too. :/

Okay, so it's been 60+ degrees since Thursday AND tomorrow is supposed to be below freezing and windy with a chance of snow. :(

Here we have like 27°C in the summer and 10°C in winter.
But because of the sea it never snows:(

Wow. Here you could see temps ranging from -18C to 43C throughout the year... or an even wider range if the weather is being particularly weird.

I haven't noticed any mistakes... I'd say you are doing well. :)

Hi everyone! :) I'm from the USA and I found this group by looking up clean reads (thank you for putting that in your tags!)! Just reading through some posts on here and everyone seems so very nice and friendly, so I joined! :) I've never been to Ireland but I think it is a beautiful island and one of my favorite singers/musicians is from Mullingar, Ireland - Niall Horan of One Direction, one of my favorite groups! He can play the acoustic guitar like a harp, which is awesome and definitely a gift from the Creator. :) Looking forward to meeting new friends! :)
