Cant find this ISBN anywhere...

I like to add images rather than get into things that I can mess up so Im bringing this problem to you.

Tried to add a cover to this book but the ISBN cant be found anywhere. I have my suspicions that it is not a real book but I get scared that Im going to break something that cant be fixed. Can someone else please take a look at it?

The ISBN13 starts with 294 and as I remember correct that are Barnes & Noble ebooks. In that case the number in the ISBN10 slot isn't correct and gives the problem.

ISBN-13 that starts with 294 is a Barnes & Noble Nook book. The ISBN-10 is junk and needs to be deleted (which I have done). Once the ISBN-10 is gone you can click on the Barnes & Noble link below the book and it will find it at BN.com.

I think this would be a similar thread. Redirect me if I'm wrong please. I am trying to find an isbn for this book:

However, when I have found it, it is the same isbn number as this book:

Is there any way that this is wrong. I have found a couple websites that show this is the isbn for Cara's Beloved (ex: FictionDB) but when I google the actual isbn I only come up with Wild Card Wedding. I googled Cara's Beloved author and edition (amer. heroes) and got this same isbn. WorldCat doesn't even show another edition for Cara's.

Did the isbn get used twice, or am I not looking in the right places or the right way. Would someone be able to help me out please? Thanks

It probabaly got reused. Sadly, it's not that uncommon.

So can/do I just add a note and put alternate isbn in the edition field? Or just leave it?

The reused ISBN is currently in the description which is what we normally do. You could update the description with a note like so...

Librarians Note: This book has a reused ISBN. Please do not enter into ISBN field.
ISBN 10: 0373822464
ISBN 13: 9780373822461

Also adding a note on the edit page helps too, so it won't get deleted accidentally.
