I think Tom Hardy would be perfect. He's gorgeous, the right age and I think he is talented enough to pull off all the dimensions needed to be Finnick.
Finnick will be cast entirely on acting abilities, since he is an incredibly deep character. I doubt any Hollywood heartthrob will be given the role. I'm POSITIVE of this, because the entirety of the first cast landed the role based on talent. Who picked Lenny Kravitz as Cinna? Nobody, but he did a gorgeous job. Same for Woody Harrelson and Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss as a beautiful blonde?). It wasnt looks, it was their acting abilities. Gary Ross says he knows who he wants as Finnick, and I bet you its an actor, not a looker. Though the makeup department will still make him look stunning :)
Looks wise, contradictory to all I just said, Ian Sommerhalder.
A lot of the suggestions here seem too young to me...I do think Arnie Hammer would make a good Finnick though, he looks like someone that would have won the games.Here's another question...who would you team him with to play Annie?

Aaaaahhhh Tom Hardy...YUM. Ok hes my second choice (I may be biased cause Warrior is the best movie ever.) Ryan Kwanten still first choice and the Alex Pettifer third purely because he is so swoon worthy.

Generally, I think that the trend is to age Finnick a little too young, but Armie Hammer would be an excellent choice for Finnick. He doesn't skew too young and he can pull of the charm.

ANYONE but Robert Pattinson... it's so annoying that he keeps getting the 'handsome boy' roles (in both Harry Potter and Twilight) when he's actually just... okay. It's very annoying. I like Taylor Kinney - saw him in The Vampire Diaries. He's kinda hot. :D

You will never know how tempted I was to post the picture of him in his underwear and angel wings, but I went with the Summerland picture instead since it fit the theme of sexy beach man. Kwanten is incredibly sexy and he would look great as a red head.
