Anyone read this?

Has anyone read this book yet? I am having a really hard time getting into it. I am 115 pages in, and just feel as if its really slow, and not all that exciting. Does it get better?

I am in the same boat at you I think I made it to chapter 24 or 25. I tried to give it a chance but I kept thinking of what else on my list of books I could be reading instead of this!!
I enjoyed the book. I guess you really have to be into the whole curiosity about "who am I or why are we this way" and the romance developing between the two characters. Otherwise, you won't be satisfied until the end when stirring up happens. Second book is "dark" and answers a lot of questions but is nowhere near resolution. Hopefully the third one has some real action...

It doesn't get exciting. I just sped through it in 3 nights of brief hour readings. Didn't particularly like ANY of the characters. They all felt like empty shells stuffed with a few nice words to me.
Am I going to read the 2nd book after this experience?
Most likely. It's easy to read. I think it wouldn't even matter if I skipped pages or chapters. :O The plot moves so slowly that it wouldn't matter.
