Mina Khan (spicebites) | 141 comments Hi sometime back I read a books with 2 cousins. A sea goddess turned one into a statue and claimed one...she ended up with shark teeth and as companion to a cursed pirate. Can anyone tell me what book this might be? I'd love to take another read.

Thanks in advance.

Reading Addict (bloodyjacko) | 45 comments Looking for any books in which it is assumed that everyone is bisexual or at least that it's normal and commonplace for people to be gay and lesbian. Anything vaguely along these lines would be nice. Thanks ;)

Sophie (imhrien) | 433 comments The first thing that comes to mind is Tanith Lee's Biting the Sun, which is more sci-fi with fantasy-esque touches.

Also, the Kushiel Saga by Jacqueline Carey might work too. It is set in an alternative version of Europe where there's one country who's national religion can be summed up by "Love as thou wilt".

Tanya Huff almost always has gay characters in her work, but her Quarter series ( http://www.goodreads.com/series/41371... ) in particular may fit what your looking for.

Amanda M. Lyons (amandamlyons) Beyond Binary: Genderqueer and Sexually Fluid Speculative Fiction

I can also vouch for Jacqueline Carey's books which are awesome :)

Pauline Ross (paulinemross) Hey You wrote: "Looking for any books in which it is assumed that everyone is bisexual or at least that it's normal and commonplace for people to be gay and lesbian."

Andrea K Höst's book Champion of the Rose is fantasy first and foremost, but the background society is one where anyone can take a lover of either gender, or marry either gender, and there are marriages between three people, too. And it's no big deal, just the way things are.

Marianne (nelsonseye) | 132 comments If I remember correctly, Fiona Patton's The Stone Prince is based in a bisexual society where everyone marries or is romantically involved with either gender.
