Sarah I really want to hear other peoples ideas! Since I found out that this book might be the last in the series i've been using my imagination of how the possible last book is going to end. How wild is your imagination(book wise:))

Well, unfortunately it sounds like it is the end of the series but if it is the end of the series then it wasn't closed very well because you kind of want to know what happens with Setne on the loose, you want to read more of the Sadie+Walt/Anubis arrangement, and you want to see Zia and Carter's relationship form a bit more. If it is the last book to the series, it was a highly unsatisfactory ending. If it is the end, then I expected much more from Rick Riordan.

So therefore this book had better not be the last one.

Julia I heard it is the last one, and honestly, if it wasn't, I would be pretty surprised. A lot of books don't always end "happily," but this one was a pretty satisfying ending, in my opinion, though there were some things that I wanted to know more about, of course. But if there aren't things you wonder about, it probably isn't the best book! Besides, Sadie was all, "Yeah, we probably won't be recording anything for awhile" at the end.

But the thing that really bothered me was how Rick kept hinting at the Percy Jackson series in all three books. That drove me insane! I mean, it would be so freaking amazing if he wrote a cross-over. But I don't know if he's going to do that. :(

Anyway, that's just my opinion :)

Melissa Nahra it was the last onee

They were talking about that on his website when someone asked him about it

Amber Andrews i don't think it's the last book with them in it because he's been foreshadowing from the first book about the cross- over btwn i want to say the heroes of olympus series (mark of athena coming out soon!!!) and Kane series. Example from the red pyramid "So you can't live in Manhatten? she asked.
Amos's brow furrowed as he looked across at the EMPIRE STATE BUILDING.(ESB is not in all caps i just did that for emphasis.)'Manhatten has other problems. OTHER GODS.(also emphasis)It's best we stay separate." Which means or i hope it means that he's going to do a cross-over can't get people excited in the beginning of the books and end and not do anything about it.
