Did anyone else think that the 3rd series, 4th series, etc. was a bit much?

I read it in a Warriors book quite some time ago too. I know that they are making a new series called Survivors (with dogs instead of cats), so I'm not sure if they'll ever make a series about the early days of the clans.

message 52: by [deleted user] (new)

Awesome, I wrote some stories about warrior dogs as well, Dachshund Pack, Dalmation Pack, Golden Pack, Shaggy Pack. :D

message 53: by [deleted user] (new)

Cool. I wrote four shorter stories about the different packs. :)

message 54: by [deleted user] (new)

I've heard of it, I'll see if I can find some people that are interested in joining.

That would be cool. :D

message 55: by [deleted user] (new)

No problem, yes. :D

message 57: by [deleted user] (new)

Cool, I've seen True Blood before, it seemed pretty cool. :D

message 58: by [deleted user] (new)

Okay, I will. :D

Priya I liked the first and third series but I HATED the second series. The fourth one was the best so far... I hear she's going to write a 5th one, but I hope she doesn't keep going - its getting kinda annoying

message 61: by [deleted user] (new)

No, I don't think it's annoying, I thought she did well with the 4th series. :)

message 62: by [deleted user] (new)

Ikr, LOLZ. :D

message 63: by [deleted user] (new)

The Walking Dead is pretty awesome, I watched all the shows that were currently avaliable to see. :D

message 64: by [deleted user] (new)

I know how to put pics on groups. :D

I'll be glad to join it. :D

message 65: by [deleted user] (new)

No problem. I'll see what I can do. I'll think about which character I would like to rp as. :)

Raven No I liked most of the books, except for the second series. Omen of the Stars should have been combined with Power of Three. I"m on The Forgotten Warrior so Only one book left for me. I thought there was a book about Yellowfang? Yellowfangs Secret or something?

message 67: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes, there is a super edition called Yellowfang's Secret coming out in August, I think. :)

Thats ok, I do that all the time. Like right now, I'm in the middle of writing a Warriors fanfic, and I keep putting Nightcloud (Crowfeather's Windclan mate) as the medicine cat's name. The medicine cat's name is actually Blackcloud.

Atlantic Gem Rose wrote: "I did some Warriors of my own. They're cats but with diff names y diff Clans. Instead of ThunderClan it's FireClan, instead of ShadowClan, it's DarkClan, instead of RiverClan, it's WaterClan, inste..."

OMG! You have a Darkclan 2! (Blackcloud is from my DarkClan.)

message 74: by Ms. (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ms. Anderson Yes. I agree that it was too much. warriors is going to become one of those series that never end

message 75: by [deleted user] (new)

The third series seemed like one gigantic filler that served only the purpose of transitioning to the fourth series.

Karen wrote: "I agree. The first series was really good and then they got progressively worse and pointless."

yeah

message 77: by Ms. (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ms. Anderson what? of COURSE its good to go on with warriors! it hardly ever will end, it goes on and on, no matter when the books end

Atlantic Gem Infinity Warrior Cats!!!!!!!

Frost_light You guys are so lucky! I'm dying to get my hands on the 4th series, and yet its very hard to find books you like in Malaysia....so sad...

Jenny Cobb i liked all the series that the hunters made

Tyler same here

I'm in Japan. I just got them on my kindle through the wireless store.

message 83: by Megan (new) - added it

Megan I stopped reading the fourth series at about book 2 or 3, because they turn out to be more of a waste of time than enjoyable. The series is becoming too long and drawn out and some of the cats (Firestar, Sandstorm, etc.) should have been dead a loooong time ago. I understand the authors' attachment to the old main characters, but making them seem immortal/invincible is going a little bit too far. I know this is supposed to be fantasy but not in that respect.

Well, some of them die in 6.

message 85: by Lynx (new) - rated it 5 stars

Lynx I love all the warriors books, but I don't like the newest siries as much at the first 3 arcs, but I LOVE the special editions!!! I can't wait for yellofang's secret to come out. I also really want to read Hollyleaf's story, but no one in my house has a Kindle or anything like one :(

How do I get a Kindle then? And forgive me, I really don't know what's that. I'm just a teenager with no pocket money^^.

A Kindle is a digital book reader similar to a Nook. You can buy and download books on them. They cost $100-$350 I think, depending on which model it is.

but if that's what you think OK with me"

toatlly agree with you

message 89: by Mary (new) - rated it 5 stars

Mary same they are amazing-the characters all mature and develop in most part to how long the series is

Ellen Yes. I did like the first series though!

♥Booknerdswift♥ I think that it got boring when it reached the 3rd series.

message 92: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah.

♥Booknerdswift♥ it also got confusing.

message 94: by Leanne (last edited Jul 12, 2012 02:47PM) (new)

Leanne I never even read any of the latter series. The first series was great, the second was pretty good, but I could tell it was going downhill, so I decided to stop while I still loved the books. :P
Also, having Graystripe's story turned into a manga really turned me off.

message 95: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah, I wish they could have made Graystripe's story a regular book instead of a manga.

Frost_light Claire wrote: "Yeah, I wish they could have made Graystripe's story a regular book instead of a manga."

I agree with you!

message 97: by [deleted user] (new)

Cool, I'm glad someone agrees. :)

Icetail I have to say that the first series was the best but I like all of them. So, yes and no.

message 99: by mush (new) - rated it 5 stars

mush I love how it had so many twists, all through till the 4th series. everything made so much sence.

message 100: by [deleted user] (new)

The series did have some pretty cool twists in it, I agree.
