It's called an asymmetrical meter. This is a little like 8/8, but you count it like 1-2-3 1-2 1-2-3.

I'm a classical musician. I love those times. I recently played a production of The Light in the Piazza. One of the final songs is in 5/8+4/8. It was beautiful.

My dad and I just had an interesting discussion. It's fascinating to see how little we agree. He doesn't believe me that I struggle with depression, or insomnia. He thinks I'm just trying to get out of housework and that I like staying up late. He also doesn't think gay people truly exist, but that is a whole topic altogether. >.>

Yup. I technically move out the last week of August, but the week before that, Hazel and I are going to be at the university campus for a conference thing. My parents will also be there, but why would we ever want to see them? :D
