There's absolutely nothing wrong with having a low voice if you're a female. They're so rich and beautiful. Sometimes, I wish I had a lower range voice than a higher range voice. I love Rock operas, but I can never try out for any of them because I'm a Soprano.
So, ladies, love being altos. Some of us here wish we were... ((On the good part, I DID get the roll for Meg in my high school's Phantom production))

I don't feel that bad about having a low voice. Except it's not a very good low voice. Heh heh. But I always feel self-conscious about everything, not just singing.

I remember in middle school, I was asked to sing with the altos, and I was taken out immediately...it was actually really funny. Low notes are beautiful.

I love having a low voice. It means I can sing along with the tenors and, on good days, the baritones. XD I have a pretty wide range, but I hardly use the top of it because of the music I like. I'm more of a belter.

Coming from another soprano who happens to be lucky enough to sing alto as well, I prefer alto. Singing soprano will make you dizzy to the point that to have to grab something to stabilize yourself. *has a vocal coach that forces her to sing in the top of her range*

My friend has a mug covered in Shakespearean insults. It's so great. Oh gosh there was one I really loved but I forget it ... Um. I'll be sure to find it out later. XD

My mom gave my brother a shirt with a bunch of alternative ways to say "you're an idiot" on it for his birthday, but I don't remember what any of them are.
