Welcome Kealan, don't let these girls scare you off. They just get a little over excited at times. Feel free to lurk or join in, we prefer joining in though.
Welcome Kealan,we have lots of authors and readers here. Please let us know about your books and we will chat about what we like to read.
I think the problem is that you girls have overwhelmed him. Must be a bit of a shock. I think he's just checking he hasn't signed up for eHarmony.
Restraining is definitely the right word GL but not sure he'd appreciate being tied up in leather before he has even had a chance to say hello to us all
I think we should just restrain ourselves to not get too crazy and stick to preset comments such as"welcome "
"Hi! It's nice to see you"
"Come in, sit down, have a drink and let us get to know you"
"Please come in and make yourself at home"
etcetera etcetera....
We'll have to give Lorraine a bit of a talking to then - she does tend to get a bit ... enthustastic when she seea a cute guy.
I think an intro thread is vital. It helps people meet us and be welcomed and saves them coming in under the radar then feeling ignored. If we just keep it to greeting new people it will work fine. (Spoken in one's Nanny voice!)
Well probably a bit more than just saying hello and welcome... I mean if they list their interests and something sticks out we can comment on it, but I think that should be as much as we do.
Enthustatic is definitely the word Gingerlily !And the ecacophony got me laughing so much i found it really hard keeping it in (can't disturb colleague working beside me !)
Hi Kealan, welcome to the group :)There slightly back on track. At least for now. I don't know about you lot but sometimes my tracks have minds of their own, maybe even trains.

*Saintly expression*
*tum-te-tum-te-tum* I think I will just pop over and look at the intro thread... I bet they are all behaving themselves after my last tidy up....
