Spell Bound
question
What's up with Torin and Izzy?

Does anybody have any interesting guesses as to why Izzy and Torin are so... awkward? There's obviously more of a story there.

I think in some way they are going to end up together. How this is going to happen? I don't know, but considering the way that she was always blushing and the way that Aislinn hinted that Torin wouldn't leave because of Izzy kind of hints at it.
I was also wished that there would have been more of an explanation on that subject but I also think it has to do with the 2 of them getting together sometime in the future.
We'll never know as I don't think there will be anymore books. There was so much wasted potential in this book. If the author had of played her cards right she could have had a few sequels with other characters, but I felt she was in a rush to wrap up this series and get the book done. Too bad, I really loved her first 2 books.
Okay I think Torin and Izzy had a "thing" going on when he first was captured
But isn't Izzy a bit too young for Torin? She's like 14 right?
Urgh.. I really hate it when author tries to come up with all these companion novel. if you do it right with the original series, there's no need for a companion novel.

I just finished Spell Bound, and I can see there was something going on between Torin and Izzy. Did he have a vision of them ending up together or something? And I saw that there is a companion novel out, "School Spirits." Is that about them?
Read School Spirits! It will explain things! I think...

Okay, everyone keeps asking and while it's very obvious that something is going on, althoguh not revealed in that book, it is revealed in School Spirits. Torrin had a vision that Izzy would be the one to set him free and release him from the mirror. While that doesn't actually happen in School Spirits, there is a chance of another book with more info.

SPOILER ALERT
Personally, I think that Izzy and Torin will get together because even though he is technically like 400 years old, he stopped ageing, so he is younger, more about Izzy's age. There is definitely some attractoin there, even if they don't realize it, and it would tie into the fact that Izzy will be the one to free Torin...maybe because they fall in love? I'm sad Rachel Hawkins didn't continue this, because I think this relationship has a lot of pontential.

OMG! this is what the book failed to explain or like confirm. I agree with Katie, i think the two has a thing going on. But it would have been cool if it's verified and a few teasing would erupt. Or maybe Torin would be out of the mirror and spend time with the Brannicks.
