RP this book felt numb to me. cassia tried to show emotion, but somehow, it didn't project back to me.... what do you guys think? ps. i don't care if u disagree :)

Turtles All the Way Down I thought it was dull. Cassia's emotions felt half hearted at the most, even when they were supposed to be passionate or strong. I felt like it was trying to do something The Giver did much better.

Brittany Utley Yes this books really failed to impress, but if you're looking to read something similar of the sort but with 10times more of the passion and excitement that lacked in this book then you should check out Delirium by Lauren Oliver.

Malia I did like Matched, but the emotions didn't feel real. Also this book reminded all too much of The Giver. Not that it is a bad thing, the plot just seemed overused I guess. I don't really see it as a good thing when a book is predictable on who the main character is going to choose in a love triangle.

Naomi Scarlett Yeah I found it numb which made me feel bored with the story, so I found it really hard to read all the way through.

Mandy I felt the same way. Matched was okay, Crossed had me even more bored. I'm not seeing the passion though, which left me feeling like there was something missing in this series. Not sure yet about getting book 3.

Katelyn Broad I agree but I still really enjoyed the story.

Totally agree. She tried, but overall she was just very numb. :p

Yes I agree with that. There is a second book of this series that came out not to long ago. I wonder if that one is any better.

F B Numb? So that was the word that i have been looking for. To me it felt like a mute movie. Yeah i can see the stuff moving but there wasn't the.. extra oomph, the feelings, the emotion that could have made the book an addictive read. i don't think anyone even raised their voice in this book.

Nola I honestly Liked this sorry a lot. But I hated Cassia and Ky and how all the other characters emotions were expressed in the book! Sorry!
