Shadow, being new and all, felt a bit out of place among the new people in the building she now called home. So she went out to the forest. As she walked around a bit she didn't know what to do, so she just took a seat on a nearby rock and began to hum to herself as various thoughts surfaced in her mind, 'I wonder how those people are like?....Would they even like me?' Fear began to swell in her body.

(yea true but i thought she would be a little bit scared because she has never dealt with people like this before. or many people in general :) )
Sage walked in the forest silently. She kicked a small rock and shifted her gaze to a butterfly on a flower. She stared at it seeming very interested.
Shadow slightly jumped as she heard a rock being kicked and saw it land a few feet from her resting spot. As she look up in the direction it had come from she saw a girl staring at a butterfly. Not knowing what to do she looked back up at the trees pretending she had not see the girl.
Sage sat on the grass and sighed. She pulled a dandelion and blew it.
Shadow began to fidget as she watched the girl from the corner of her eye. 'say something!!' she thought. Fighting back her fear she took a deep breath and tried to speak as loud as she could. "It's peaceful here, huh?" But her voice never came out any higher than a whisper. 'I bet she didn't hear me. I'm so pathetic.' she thought, scolding herself.
Sage smiled. "Yes. Do you enjoy the forest." She shifted her gaze at the girl with happy eyes.
Shadows heart jumped as she heard the soothing voice of the young girl reply. Trying not to stutter she replied "y- yes i do, very much. It's a nice place to think and dream don't you think?" She looked over and saw the girl have a pure white mask on her face. 'Such a pretty mask, its almost mesmerizing' she thought.
She nodded. "I agree." She noticed the girl's expression. "Like the mask?" she smiled.
Shadow quickly looked down at her lap. "Yea its really interesting. Sorry for staring at it. You must get a lot of that." she began to fidget once more as her eye color changed from ocean blue to a horizon red.
Melly rounded the corner, hopelessly lost in thought, something about quadratic functions and graphs, thinking she was alone. She bumped into Shadow, only then looking up, and only to apologize. "I'm so sorry," she said, terribly embarrassed, "I really should look where I'm going."
Shadow looked up from her lap surprised that another person had arrived from the blue. Nervous herself because she had never had this many people speak to her she answered, "It's alright. Do you also like the forest?" cocking a smile to the side.
"It's all right, I guess. I usually don't come out here," Melly replied, returning the smile, "Do you?"
"Well being new here and all I felt like I needed some space from the main building and daydream a bit" Shadow looked up at the girl to see her strawberry hair and her sky blue eyes more closely and it sent electric shivers down her spine.
Sage removed her mask and tied it to her belt strap.
Looking back at the first girl she noticed she had taken off her mask allowing Shadow to see her eyes. "You have such beautiful eyes. What is your name if you don't mind me asking?"
She blinked at her and smiled. "Thank you. My name is Sage. How about you?"
"The names Shadow, nice to meet you. Are you new to this school too?" Hearing the birds chirp in the distance put her heart at ease a bit. It was beating a bit to hard for her comfort.
She nodded and smiled. "Yeah. To be honest I thought I was the only odd one. Until I came here."
Shadow looked back down at her lap blushing tremendously, her eye color turning an even deeper red, "odd?" She whispered.(Do you mind is she likes her? I'm bored with boy and girl relationships. But sage doesn't have to respond to shadow! I just thought it would be different, they can just be freinds or somthing along thoses lines. =\ *sweat drops*)
((XD sure. Something different is cool i dont mind :D))She smiled and nodded. "Yes.. odd."
"W-wh-what do you mean, odd?" Shadow said standing from her resting stop, taking a bit of defense. She prepared for the worst.
"Well, I think I was odd because I'm different. I don't really expect someone to come out of no where and say, 'Oh I understand you like no one else.'" She shook her head,scowling and put her mask back on her face. "I guess I'm just different. In other words..odd."
Melly stood there, the entire time, listening to the two girls, not quite sure how to respond. Ever so quietly, she whispered, barely audible, "I guess I'll see you guys around...nice to meet the two of you."
Seeing sage's face change made her flinch a bit. "Oh, well if you put it like that.." Shadow took her seat back on the rock. "We are all odd, even the people that think they are normal are odd in someway, not just you. Sorry if I angered you for not understanding what you meant. I thought you were talking about me." Shadows eyes turned to a sad depressing redish blue.
Sage nodded. "No, it's fine. I just got some anger issues." She laughed weakly. "It wasn't you." She then looked at Melly. "Where do you plan on going?" she asked.
Melly turned around, startled. She pointed to herself, and when Sage nodded, she began to walk towards her. "I'm Melly," she said, "I was planning on going back to the library, if either of you are interested in coming with me...I simply love that place!" The smallest of smiles formed on Melly's lips.
((Just found it!! Its a girls dorm. Lol didn't even see it there. Xp))
((there are no dorms))Sage smiled and her with her full white mask still on her face. "Ah~ the la biblioteca. Sure." She looked at Shadow. "Wanna come?"
"I'll head on back there...meet me in the fiction section," Melly said, "That is, if you don't mind."
Melly smiled, "Sure, that sounds great!"
Sage shook her head. "Nah, I'm good."((psst- [pokes Fairy] there are no dorms O . O))
She looked at the two. "Okay meet you guys at the library."
((Sorry I keep on deleting posts =( I have to hit the refresh button on my phone to keep up with everyone.. let's continue with sage's question))Shadow grew light as a feather, "Sure, I will go with you and Sage!"
