Like in general?

The fact that reaping day is supposed to be a celebration like "Oh yeah kids are gonna die! Let's partaay!"

I think that the worst was that almost all of the capitol citizens ENJOYED it. Nobody there was forced to watch.

Nataly (natalyreads) I think it was the aftermath for the victors because they were left in a terrible state. After all they went through, think about their emotional response and how much it affected them. They were scarred and their life would never be the same. It was more torture than just dying.

I'll agree with you...although, the cruelest part was probably making the families of the tributes act like it was a celebration.

Daisy (daisyiscrazy) hm well i think that it was cruel that in the third quarter quell the gamemakers decided to put mockingjays in the arena that sounded like the screams of people they knew.

Yes, that was pretty bad.

Sneha | 2 comments I would say ignorance was the most disturbing part. The scene of the feast was shocking and yet not at all because when you think about it, we kind of accepted it.

I agree. I thought it was disgusting and sick how they set it up as a holiday and enjoyed watching human suffering.

I agree with all the comments above, but what about the fact that they were sending children into the arena? Rue and Prim were only twelve, for God's sake!

I know. It was a terrible thing to happen.

Seriously. Thank God it's only fiction.
