Using diacretics in authors names

not sure if this is the right place, but I wanted to ask - i'm noticing more and more author profiles being made (especially for authors from the scandanavian countries) with no diacretics on the names, which is duplicating offical profiles. what should I be doing with these? replacing the names with diacretic ones, using both?

for example:
Håkan Nesser and Hakan Nesser

I think the profile should have the CORRECT name, so I'd merge the profile with no diacretics into the correct one.

Agreed. This has always happened with many of our imports, and the incorrect authors just need to be merged into the correct ones.
