William Herondale...Am i the only one doesn't see him as "the bad boy" ?

So i've noticed in a lot of discussions that people say the prefer Jem because they are tired of the bad boy always ending up with the girl and they want it to be the opposite for once.
I however, don't see Will as a bad boy at all.
I also thought he might wear a bad boy disguise especially seeing how he is with Jem. But i don't think that's his true nature or personality. After reading Clockwork Prince i firmly believe him to be a good guy.
Sure, he can be a little cocky and rude at times, but still a good guy.
I love how he puts Jem's happiness before his own, he loves Jem more than anything and cares deeply for him. The He would do anything for Jem.
He also risked his life for Tessa.
So who else doesn't see him as bad boy? Or am I by myself on this one?

I agree completely! I never saw him as the "bad boy". He acted the way he did because he thought it would save those he cared about. When he was being cocky and arrigant, it was all an act. Anyone who gives up the person they love for the sake of another friends happiness, could never be bad.
He isn't naturally a bad boy, but he acted that way to try to keep people from loving him. He really is a sensitive person on the inside, but he always kept it hidden.
I agree with what you're saying. I think people are just classing him as a bad boy because he is mysterious and doesnt share his feelings. I've always thought of Will as the good guy.

Agreed. Even before we were revealed it was an act, I felt he was actually really sweet underneath. I know a real life person like that and really its just a wall to keep out pain.

I do not see Will as a bad boy, he has had one hell of a crap life... (Sorry Will) and he reacted the best way he thought would work in not getting any one killed. I love Will!!
