pregnant...OMFG... kate is pregnant with henry's baby...and at the moment shes in the hands of Calliope great just f-ing great!

haha I know!!!! I can't believe Calliope got her and that other girl betrayed her! I had a bad feeling she shouldn't have left for that mission.
grrr i hate it when books are like this...OH! i hope she has twins a baby boy and a baby girl lol
I know, I wasn't expecting that. I really want to know what happens next, like right now! lol

from the look of it it seems that colliope wanted her to be pregnant and all..so ava was not saying it "so they would go all soft on her." ??
well Ava could have just said that she is pregnant so Colliope wont hurt her as much...but i really doubt that

I hat how she made her pregnant i mean she is 19 which is like a newborn in the "god life" okay?! this is just not fair and I am soooo mad at calliope I wish Henry did slice her into a million pieces! I am not sure if ava helped or not I am still debating...

I liked this twist - I never expected Kate to be pregnant but it makes perfect sense with Calliope (Hera) being the goddess of fertility and all that.
Now they just need to make sure Henry knows she's pregnant so he can go in and be EVEN MORE heroic than if he just had to save Kate and save both her and the baby :P
Henry does find out She's pregnant. It's a scene after the acknowledgments. Ava speaks through his mind or something and saying that Calliope has Kate on a island. She told Henry he only has a couple hours to save her since the baby is coming. He screams and shakes the Earth. So the Ava didn't lie about the baby just to save her.

It's probably a preview from the next book and takes place a while later.

No, when it's in Henry's point of view it's nine months LATER after Calliope captures Kate. She's nine months pregnant now and she's probably in labor when Henry finds out.
?! how do you know this stuff and oh my god he wasnt there with her every step of the way he sucks as a husband!!!! :) hahaha
I didn't get an ARC lol it was in the book my friend let me borrow. To bad Henry wasn't there to help Kate out. I can't wait to read the next book and see how mad he is.
But Caliope said something about all she needed was for Henry and Kate to sleep together, and then it dawned on Kate.... but she never said exactly what...I think the baby is part Cronus's. As in, Caliope just needed to them to do the deed for her to mess with it...
I was really looking forard to a possble baby for Henry and Kate too! He never said he didn't want kids either, he just said he didn't want her to feel burdened by being forced to deal with a kid for the rest of forever.

She was on the island for 3 seasons. During those 3 seasons she was pregnant. And 3 seasons equals to nine months :)
PLUS, I didn't have an ARC, and I read the same part Alyssa had. I did read the book on e-book, if that means anything...
i read the ebook to but that wasnt there at all did u read the amazon version?
No, I read the Barnes and Noble version. But I figured that both would be the same, don't you think? I'm confused :/ You could tweet Aimee Carter or email her and she'll answer it for sure :) She always answers my questions when I need 'em!
I just got my copy from my public library, but it defiently had that scene. It was in size 12 font... That was HUGE compared to the rest of the book, and it had no introductory page, it was just kind of like "This is how Henry finds out"...
It's very short... like 10 pages or less :) It starts off with: Henry waited for Kate to return for three seasons. And waited. And waited. And waited.
Really, contact Aimee or the publishing house, and I'm sure they'll contact Amazon and fix the issue :)

yeah you had to read the regular copy. i got mine from the library i dont think the ebook had that extra scene
wow yeah i guess you know its a plot twist when you really didnt see that coming. personally i think that callope wanted kate to have a baby so she could keep it herself; raising henerys child cuz she still loves him and all that. talk about an evil stepmom
I got an advanced copy of this book. I didnt get the extra excert but reading these comments is making me want the third book even more now. And i want it bad enough. Why did Aimee Carter leave this book with such a huge cliff hanger then makes us wait for so long for the third book?
I just finished reading it! I hate cliff hangers. I don't even know why they make us wait a year! Geesh
I hate cliff hangers as well but they are good for authors because they make you want to get the the next book. I really want to get the next book te release date needs to be here right now lol!
a lot of people say they hate cliffhangers but the truth is, if there are unanswered questions people are more likly to read the next booki hate cliffhangers too, but be real, are any of you not going to read the next book because of it???
Of course I'm going to get the next book I want my questions answered. :-)

I wanted to do the same thing. Its unbearable knowing how the auther ended the book. After I was done reading it I wanted to go to the book store and get the third one. But the third one wasn't out!
i wish the 3rd book comes out this year instead of summer next year..the waiting is killing me!

I didn't get to read the extra seen either because I got the book free before it even came out. So I didn't get the extra seen with it.
