At the moment I have just started two books -

Sorry by Zoran Drvenkar which is very creepy so far!
Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson which is your classic coming-of-age teenage novel which a friend recommended to me.

I've just begun Nightfall by the wonderful Australian Will Elliot. If anyone wants a freaky story of clowns (because there can never be too many!) check out his other book - The Pilo Family Circus

CF (mrsclairef) | 4 comments Just finished The Hammer And The Cross: A New History Of The Vikings by Robert Ferguson. It was an excellent introduction to the conversion and development of the Northern States between the 8th and 11th centuries.

Kelly (Diva Booknerd) (divabooknerd) Hi everyone, lovely to meet you all.
I've just finished Boundless and have started Everbound and then moving onto an advanced copy of The Sweetest Dark.

I read mostly young adult, just easier to escape into and wont keep me awake at night.

Tanya Tabone (tanyatabone) | 1 comments Hi All, great to see a Melbourne group up and running, a lovely find with a coffee on a Sunday morning. I am reading Oliver Sacks Uncle Tungsten at the moment. I wish I had read it when I had more of an understanding of chemistry, but he writes beautifully, nonetheless.

Stephanie McCaig (steph_mccaig) Hi there! At the moment I'm currently reading We Need to Talk About Kevin and Extras, although I do have a habit of reading up to 5 bboks at a time :)

Currently reading John Dies at the End and I have to say it's extraordinary! I've not seen the movie yet and I'm glad because I've heard it's not so great - can't wait to finish the book though!

message 18: by Doug (new)

Doug Hendrie (doughendrie) | 2 comments Reading my way through David Mitchell's backlist after devouring the extraordinary Cloud Atlas. Now reading Ghostwritten and it's excellent - his command of voice and character is remarkable.
