I gave it a 3. Not my favorite book ever, and I probably wouldn't recommend it. I really seemed to struggle reading it, and I can't really figure out why. I've even gone back and have reread some of the hard sections, and it hasn't really grabbed me any more.
Sorry to those of you who loved it.

I am curious about Bronsky's other book. Has anyone read it? Is it written in a similar style (first person with mental issues)?

So, I think the problem for me was that it didn't really flow for me. My guess is that it is because it was translated and I have no experience with translated works. It's hard to put my finger on it, but it just felt jarring.
I give it a 4, and have decided i need more translated readings!

I gave it a 4.25. My whole obnoxious review is on my book blog, which I'll link to because this girl doesn't want to type it out again. Or, well, even copy and paste:

...... Well, I give this book 3.5 stars.
Rosa, her narcissistic ways ..... what can you say!
Sometimes shocking! Sometimes Funny! Sometimes you couldn't help but "sigh" and tell yourself " What is this woman going to do next?" She had a way of showing her "kind" of love (this is the best way!).... to her husband, the girls, and her "friends". All in the name of being "Tartar". "Wow"!?
