Lu (The Muggle) wrote: "53 - Read a book that has more than a 1000 pages"Lol, I'm curious to see if Lauren's going to find another romance novel for this one :)
No, not a clue. The only one I know of, you read and didn't like much (Gone With The Wind). But there is a list on goodreads ( http://www.goodreads.com/list/show/47... ) with books over a 1000 pages. They are not all romance novels, but maybe there is something in there you like.
Hmm you are right, there is nothing left on the list that looks any good. And I think if you are going to read a 1000 page book you should be really interested! Maybe I will reread Stephen Kings The Stand it is one of my favourites.
Omnibus is fine, aslong as it is a omnibus and not 3 books in a series that was never put in a omnibus - if that makes sense :)

Yes, but you can't just pick up three separate books and call them an omnibus. They have to have been published in omnibus format.

Awesome, I started reading a Judith McNaught omnibus I have had sitting on my shelf for a while now in the hopes everyone would agree with the idea. I'm glad my effort hasn't been wasted because I'm a good 300 pages in!

Maybe look for debut novels that have been released recently and do research from there. New author are likely to be younger but to be honest I can't think of any whose age I know. But if they are goodread author's they sometimes have their age and other details on their profile.

Don't worry. Just found that Veronica Roth is 23. Insurgent it is then!

Let me know how Insurgent is. I have been looking forward to reading it for ages but I am trying to save it for the mishmash challenge- there's a tree on the cover.
OK, there are enough reasons to delay Insurgent a few weeks and I found Scarlet. The author is 28...

Lu (The Muggle) wrote: "147 - Read a book with a red dress on the cover (seriously they are everywhere)."Lol, that depends on the kinds of books you read! I don't recall ever reading a book with a red dress on the cover, except a recent book of poems that was too short to count.
Heheh that was one that someone suggested and I just copied their suggestion and comment :)
