Oh my gosh, I forgot about that! Hmm, I'll have to think about it Anna.

I did a re-read of both series by audiobook on my MP3 player and it was great. That way I was "reading" while driving my car and at work between files. :)

The book didn't hang together as well for me as the other ones: I felt PB was trying to do too much too quickly and lost some of her threads in the middle. I loved the story with Leslie at the beginning but she kind of petered out as did the other FBI yet PB did lots of POV in the first third.
Isaac also says 'Thanks' to Beauclaire (fae) when he provides some light for the boat but neither Charles nor Anna react at all! WTF?! Surely that's just sloppy editing.
I did like the ending but I also wasn't convinced a jury would let him off completely - he had killed too many children and the pictures were supposed to be horrific. I don't buy that even if they were half fae.
Loved the bits with Adam and Bran but am frustrated that she develops new characters in Boston then disappears off back to Montana. In MT, the characters have time to develop over a number of books. I get the feeling she was trying to cram it all into 1 book here and it should have developed much more slowly.
I felt it needed more editing - I wonder if she is under too much pressure to rush and produce the books.
That's saying something! I'm not sure when I will get to start it because I am juggling a lot of review books, but hopefully I will be able to read it soon. :)

I understand that arc pressure, but darn -- you need to read this one!

And I simply love how Patricia is one of the very few authors that understands that eroticism is not about bland sex... really, the airport scene with Anna drinking the water - ssssizzling!

Not sure what I think of it, but I did like the after play.

Right now over at dabwaha.com Patricia Briggs' Fair Game and Nalini Singh's Archangel's Storm are the last paranormal/Urban Fantasy romances standing, on their way to the championship.
Right now, we are down by about 50 votes. So if you loved Fair Game... Go vote! Voting is open until midnight CST.
Disclaimer: I picked Fair Game to win the whole show in my bracket. ;)
