A great series to watch is the shows on Investigative Discovery. On that channel there are shows such as: wivs with knives-wicked attractions-frenemies-Stalked

great gritty true shows

Georgia | 554 comments Don't forget The Guilty One by Lisa Ballantyne I thought
this was a real good one as I mentioned a couple of weeks ago.

message 71: by Linda (new)

Linda (beaulieulinda117gmailcom) | 1750 comments Reading Dark House by Karina Halle, very disappointed.

message 72: by [deleted user] (new)

My favorite series are the Virgil Flowers and Lucas Davenport series from John Sandford. If you want something a little different, I enjoy the Chet and Bernie series by Spencer Quinn. Bernie is a private investigator and Chet is his dog who is always by his side. The stories are told by Chet, the dog. It's quite interesting and comical.

message 73: by Frances (new)

Frances Plino (francesdiplino) | 48 comments Not hard boiled, but excellent crime thrillers with a legal twist read the Dismas Hardy series by John Lescroart.

message 74: by Julie (new)

Julie (juliegreenart) | 6 comments Hmmm, I'm not sure if it fits your taste as I'm not totally familiar with some of the authors that you've mentioned but here's my suggestion: Chris Allen's Defender & Hunter. He's writing the third of the series right now and that means there's many more where that came from. His novels are really current and fantastic, brilliant actually. Let me know what you think. I hope my suggestion finds you well. Anyone else read them yet?
