This will work here, but you need one more book to complete the task ... I will mark the task complete when you post a book with a number in the title.

I almost didn't see the Y in the author's name since I was focusing on the title. It will work for this task, but can you give us a bit more detail about what makes it "great?"

Book 1 - Spring Forward: Read a book set at least 30 years in the future.
Shadowed: The Final Judgment (Underground Zealot #3) Jenkins, Jerry 297 pages
The final book in the trilogy “Underground Zealot”. With religion banned by the National Peace Organization, the underground church continues to grow in spite of persecution. Agent Paul Stepola’s job is to identify members of the underground church and carry out the consequences for disobeying the ban. No longer able to hide that he is a believer, Stepola must determine who he can trust when he becomes an international fugitive.
This was one of those “can’t put it down” books. The ending was excellent, if totally unexpected. Jenkins shows what could come about if/when government has too much control and interferes with religious rights of citizens.

Read ONE book that contains two words that are commonly linked together as a pair in its title or subtitle.
Soon: The Beginning of the End (Underground Zealot#1) Jenkins, Jerry 347 pages
This is a modern retelling of Paul’s conversion on the road to Damascus (Acts 9: 1~21. ) It is set in a post~ Apocalyptic United States that has been reduced to seven regions which mirror the last seven churches in the book of Revelation. And much like the Christians in the early church, Christians in post ~World War III America have to live and worship underground or face prosecution. As an agent for the National Peacekeeping Organization (NPO), Paul Stepola’s job is to enforce the prohibition on religion. During a raid on an underground church site, an explosion nearly kills him and leaves him blind, Stepola reevaluates his beliefs on religion and becomes a Christian. This puts him in the position of being a “Double Agent.”
This story is truly a heart-warming tale that leads us all to realize that faith is always a guiding light. We doubt our identity and our priorities, but it helps us find what our mission truly is. And in the end, it shows us that no matter how ignorant or stubborn we claim to be, God always finds a way into our hearts. The story also helps show us one great trait of humanity, finding strength in the most hopeless of moments.

Read a book in which the letters X, Y, or Z appear somewhere in the title/subtitle/series title or author’s name.
2. The Hunger Games Collins, Suzanne 374 pages
Having read several futuristic books where the USA no longer exists and a new government is in control,
this is another series that show the problems that can arise with societal control. Although the new government is formed as a way to insure order and organization after a war, this becomes corrupted as greed and the desire for power and control over others arise.
This book is suspenseful, action packed, and is all about standing up for your beliefs. You can't help but ask yourself tough questions - Who do you trust? Would you sacrifice your life for someone?

Read a book that features a hero or heroine that would be considered a nerd, geek, or genius
72. The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Perilous
Stewart, Trenton Lee 440 pages
Mr. Benedict prepares a surprise reunion for the children. The plan is for them to follow clues that will lead them to their benefactor. However, this plan is thwarted when Mr. Benedict and his assistant Number Two are kidnapped by his evil twin, Mr. Curtain. The children set out to rescue him despite the danger and without their parents’ knowledge. This involves an unexpected voyage across the sea to Portugal as they discover the clues, solve the riddles, follow maps, and travel in a foreign country. As in the first book, the children use their extraordinary talents and teamwork as they encounter extreme danger during their quest.

Book 2 - Fall Back:
Cleopatra's Daughter
Moran, Michele 448 pages
The book tells the story of twins Selene and Alexander, children of Cleopatra and Marc Antony and what it might have been like for a prince and princess of a fallen Egypt to grow up in Rome.
This story takes the reader from ancient Egypt to ancient Rome. Michele Moran painted a vivid picture of everyday life in Egypt and Ancient Rome during the reign of Augustus showing that, like today, the people had hopes and struggles. Throughout the story she gave detailed descriptions of the settings of each region, current events, and the dress for particular activities.
The book appears to have been well researched - the author's note at the end says that all the characters are actual people and their personalities in the book are derived directly on what is known about them
As with Galileo’s Daughter, I was pretty well-informed about the basics of Cleopatra's story, but I had never really considered the story of her children

Read ONE book that has a number and a word that starts with A, B, or C in its title/subtitle
3.4
24. 10th Anniversary Patterson, James 395 pages
A little different twist from the usual WMC books. There is the usual suspense and mystery, but the books starts off with a romantic touch with a wedding. From there the typical fast pace begins – a missing baby, a rapist terrorizing the town, and of course, the required murder mystery. It seems the last few books have included more detail about the personal lives of the characters – in this one most of the characters have a positive change in their romantic relatinships.
