It all began with the acclaimed and famous movie and recently popular play “The Elephant Man” which sparked at the time a fascination but then grew into more of an odd-ball obsession which has only increased over the years.
Perhaps, it’s simply because I have a soft and rather sensitive heart and when I stumble upon stories about what people would consider freaks and I can’t help but pity them whole-heartily and add them to my adopted fictional family which increasing in size.
Anyway, back to the origin of the reason behind this book idea and how it all began..so, first of all...there has been many various debates which popular fictional couple has the best love story and instead of choosing a fictional or historical couple and then stating my many reasons behind choosing them and how and why they are the best.
It happened like this, I was in the mood for finding two more family members to add to my list when I came across the website entitled: Human Marvels and read the first words which turned out to be, “True love knows no bounds”.
And that instantly captured my attention and by the time I had finally finished the article, I was totally enchanted by their love story and found it to be the best love story I have read both fictional and historical.
Although Al and Jeanie may not be Rhett Butler and Scarlett O’Hara whose their movie romance that has become the greatest saga, I still consider what they did for each other and loving each other despite the fact that Al was a giant and Jeanie had no legs and only twisted arms to support her, they are still able to steal my heart time and time again.
I hope that their love story both charms and enchants you as it did me! - Anna Hanson

However at the early age of three years old, Jeanie became a circus performer and thus became what would be her life-long career and soon she became quite popular among the other performers and the crowds that came to see her act.
In the place of the feet she never had, she used her hands which she became quite skillfully and mostly her act that was made out of hand-stands and cart-wheels despite the fact that her arms was deformed and completely twisted.
However when she was 13 and had went to a fair in Paris, Texas..horrible news stuck..her mother had died and then she and her two brothers were went to an orphanage but her luck soon changed because she was adopted at the age of 15.
Lizzie Weeks was the name of the woman who adopted Jeanie nonetheless she was intellectually abusive and locked her up between the various productions so that anyone wouldn’t see her without paying for a ticket first.
Regardless Jeanie was performing on the side-show circuit in 1930s, she met Aurelio and was best known as “Al” Tomaini who was an eight-foot and two inch giant from Long Branch, New Jersey and he wasn’t quite use to the carnival life-style.

The Days Of Kelsea's

Demi Costello is heartbroken, frustrated and scared. She is living in a world of grief and horror.
Kelsea Richardson was her best friend. And three weeks ago, she went missing, leaving no trace or information.
Then Demi finds her diary. Of course the police want any evidence they can find, or anyone can find, but that diary is full of Kelsea's life, her hopes, her dreams, her hardships, and secrets.
Demi can't hand it in. Yet. She has to find out what happened first, before anyone else does.
In this story, we take a journey through two best friends' lives, written in two different formats - Kelsea's heart warming, breath taking diary enteries, filled with love, tenderness and sorrow. And Demi's flashbacks, and memories, of her time spent with her best friend.
And every step along the way, the reasons why become clearer . . .

I was thinking of perhaps being from her point of view and that's a great idea about the orphanage part, I never really thought about that. I am not sure why she was called Jeanie though. She was most likely called names and teased in the orphanage before Lizzie Weeks came along and adopted her but only for a cost.

Best Afternoon: I loved it! There are a few things.. and I mean very few. I would like to know there names. Also, when she said I started seeing something else, something deeper. What was she seeing? The last one is out a curiousity. If you think it's better to have people guess on it, thats just fine. I was just wondering. xD
