Ola (boopoland) i started keeping track the books i read this year. i've read 'only' 59 books by now but i believe i may read a few more before the year ends. next year, i want to read at least 75 books, i know i can do it :).
[i'm still a bit lost here, on GR, but once i get familiar with everything, i'll be here quite often:]
take care

Did you read it too, Kay?
[Did you like it?:]

message 25: by Karol (new)

message 28: by Karol (new)

Karol Wow, Ola! You've been doing a lot of reading lately. What did you think of "The Unbearable Lightness of Being?"

message 29: by Ola (new)

Ola (boopoland) "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" was OK, nothing special thou. i guess i had too high expectations, you know. so many people told me only good things about it. i don't think i'll read it again. [well, maybe i will in 10 or 15 years ;-) :]

Good for you Ola! I am crawling to the finish, I hope I make it! i'm also a student and work full time so a lot reading I do comes from a text book and work material! Please update your list when you get a chance so we can see what else you read. Congrats!!

message 37: by Ola (new)

Ola (boopoland) I'm a student [just started Journalism and Public Communication Studies:] and 'a worker' myself [i'm a teacher:], so recently i dont have much time to read - i read ONLY one short book in September - what i mean is - i understand what you're talking about :)

I feel your pain! In the last three years I completes my Associates in business and now I'm a little more then half way through my bachelors in health care administration. Now that I can see the light at the end of the hole I am glad that I stuck with it. I wanted to quit several times but with good support from my hunny and family I kept working hard. The thing I miss most about being in school is the luxury of laying on the couch and reading something just because I want to! Just hang in there and it will pay off!
