I like the actress playing Jessica as well. I think now that Jessica is into the whole vamp thing, she might be interesting. I'm not surprised about Terry because he is in the books quite a bit. Eggs is hot so I'm totally cool with him and I want to see what Maryanne has planned.

The thing I dislike the most about True Blood is that they didn't bring Bubba in. That's just reprehensible to me.

Hopefully Bubba will be on this show. I'd love to see him but how will people who haen't read the book feel about Elis being a dimwitted vamp ? Maybe that's why he hasn't shown up yet.

That's a good point, Jael. Maybe HBO is worried about Bubba making the show seem too campy.

They may also need to get permission from the Elvis estate. I don't know if his personna is protected or not but I would imagine that it is. You notice that he is never mentioned in the book, just lots of not so subtle hints.

I was way excited about Bubba, but I keep hearing that he definitely will not make an appearance. Jessica is his "replacement."

He is great, a perfect Terry. I love what he said about watching politicians and could he change it to the home improvement network please. TOO funny

I'm really glad Tara is such a big character, so soon, in the series. I love the girl playing her. Definitely a different personality that the Tara of the books. I think her series personality makes her friendship with Sookie more natural. She definitely needs a friend. Glad it's Tara.
