Definitely Alex she had more of a connection with him and the romance with Julian seemed a bit more abrupt.

I actually like Julian more! He healed her and loved the different her while in Requiem Alex was a total jerk and I did not like him AT ALL! Julian is always there for her and is a solid rock that Lena can always have while I feel like Alex is wishy wahsy. Lena learned to love again in her darkest moments, and Julian saw her at her worst and she was everything he and his family were against, but he still overcame their differences and loved her!
Just finished the second book. Part of me was kind of hoping Alex was dead so as a reader I wouldn't be flip flopping between Alex and Julian... but here I am... I have come to this conclusion. IF Alex is still Alex from book one with all his love and what not I am team Alex if he has hardened in anyway (which i feel she hinted at) than I am team Julian.

Really, Alex is still Alex. He was tortured and found his girlfriend in someone else's arm... But inside he is still wonderful Alex.
I can't choose! I like Alex and book 1 broke my heart, but I also like Julian, so I caaaaaannnnn't deciiiiiidddddeeee.
I think Lena should absolutely pick Alex. Julian resembles the old Lena a lot. He believed in everything the DFA was standing for and builds his own opinion during the book and becomes an advocacy of love as soon as he mets/ becomes infected by Lena.
The same thing had happened to Lena as she had met Alex.So Julian stands at the beginning of his new live...a stage Lena has already left far behind her. I think with all the hard experiences Lena has grown to a strong and smart person...and is now to be the equal of Alex. Plus Alex sacrified himself for her and needs Lena more then ever before...to heal him from the harm The regulators/ government did to him.
Alex. I found Julian kind of cliché. It seemed kind of obvious to me that Lena and Julian would end up together. Although I have nothing against Julian, I never let go of Alex. I love Alex, he is awesome. I really liked how he was willing to let Lena go if it made her happy. But I didn't like how he was kind of a jerk. So anyways, I am team Alex.
ღIsabellaღ wrote: "Alex!!! I don't hate Julian or anything but... Alex!"YASS . Alex is Bae and I to choose Julian after the 2nd book but in the 3rd book you fall in love with Alex all over again
I have not read the third book yet but as of right now I really really love them both. Alex went to the crypts for Lena! But Julian is so sweet and at that point Lena thought Alex was dead. Although I kinda saw that whole "Alex is still alive?!" coming because this is a book and there wouldn't really be anything for the third book anyway so obviously they had to bring back Alex or it would be too perfect and any reader knows that nothing ever ends up happy. EVER! I am a tad scared to read the third book though because it's two point of views and out of all of those types of books I've read only one has ended well. TEAM JULEX?

But isn't that the point? To have someone that resembles how she used to be? I for one thought Lena needed to see it from Alex's perspective and Julian was the perfect way to show her that. And we have all had a crush on more than one person at some-point. We always will have more than one love. That's realistic.
When I first met Julian, and when he was first introduced to this new world, I think that I liked Lena and Julian together. Lena was teaching Julian about the wilds the way Alex did to her. He was also very patient with Lena, which I liked. But, Alex loved Lena and Lena loved Alex. There wasn't anything that could get in the way of that. You can see how Lena thinks. Every one of her thoughts has to do with Alex, and she spent all of her time in the wilds thinking, I'm doing this for Alex, or I need to be strong for Alex. They love each other.
I like Alex but i have a feeling she's going to end up with Julian. I LOVE Alex if she dosent end up with him I'll take him.
Alex for sure...I did love Julian though. If Alex was really gone then I would be satisfied with Julian. Alex didn't choose to leave her. He wanted to get back with Lena. She was the only thing that kept him going! He deserves to have her back!

I totally agree with you on that!!!!!
Well.. I love Alex, but I adore Julian soo.. I'm team Julian. He's so cute and kind, he is really good and amazing guy. I liked Alex when I read Delirium but.. When Julian came I just fall in love
Alex, only because getting a second chance with your first love isn't something that comes along every day. There are a lot of people who would want a second chance, but will never have one
No clue, i love Julian, i lovehow he learns to love an how he is like a little puppy soo cuteBut Alex it is Alex i mean... I ended up gwtting over Alex along as Lena did but then Julian walks in and im like o myyyyy gooooooooooooood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the Alex waks in an im like... What the actual f??????????? But i dont konw i love both of them but i would be a little bit happier if she ended up with Julian
Alex! I never for a second thought he was dead and was so upset with Lena this whole book. Why didn't she go to his camp where people actually knew him and would probably help Lena looking into if he was alive? I really don't understand how she could so easily accept that 100% he was dead and wouldn't even think about what if? What if he made it and he is now sitting in a jail cell because of me and maybe I should help... Same for her mom. She asks one person if her mom sounds familiar and Raven says no and she just doesn't look into it any further? Annoyed me so much.
Like, okay, having finally read all the books in the series, plus the short stories, I feel like Alex is really the better match for Lena. Like, Julian is an interesting character to me, and the second book works because Oliver got me to like Julian against my better judgement (kind of like Lena), but she's always been in love with Alex.I don't know, to me it's kind of a moot point, since she (view spoiler), but Alex was the person she felt like she'd live and die for, whereas Julian sort of came off as that rebound boyfriend who turns into your big brother.
*shrugs* That's just me, though.
Julian all the way, alex is too perfect, Julian is a more interesting character and him and Leena are a better team. Alex is just like Leena's babysitter. I literally swore when alex came back but I relate so much with her problem not being able to get over a guy and it destroying new relationships. Alex only a little but more then a lead male in a young adult clone.
Ali wrote: "yes...alex did take a bullet for her...but he did it so she could LIVE and LOVE...he didn't give himself up so she could mope around for eternity in the wilds...and Julian killed someone for her...."
its easy to die for someone its harder to live (and change your life)for them
Julian because his love is not easily persuaded like Alexs. Alex is a coward and in my opinion he is nothing but a piece of trash that Lena should walk over who does he think he is "I don't love you, Lena. Do you hear me? I never loved you" Uh hold up at the end oh Lena stay with me baby nonsense stay away from the jerk and stay with Julian cause you love him he loves you its perfect :)
Julian. Julian. Julian. He's so kind and gentle. He deserve's Lena and Lena deserves him. I liked Alex in the first book but I liked Julian much more in Pandemonium

Right? I get that Alex is her first love, but lets be real, we don't always stay with our first love. We change and they will be forever special to us but it's not the same. And Julian suits the new Lena. Idk, I see a lot of people who dislike Julian. Poor kid, he needs a lot of love
Yuppppp. I like the new Lena, Alex is just a Douche soooo he doesn't understand change. Julian is a sweet guy PERFECT for Lena...
Live♥Lively wrote: "Yuppppp. I like the new Lena, Alex is just a Douche soooo he doesn't understand change. Julian is a sweet guy PERFECT for Lena..."Yess!
Alex hands down. For the entirety of Pandemonium I'm looking at Julian as a rebound for Lena. She just lost the love of her life, first love, the person who taught her what love is and she feels lost. Conveniently, she gets trapped with a guy and as someone here already said, it's a fishbowl relationship. The ending of Delirium always gets me...
Alex. Always Alex. My first and main reason is the fact that I couldn't find more layers to Julian's personality. If I was ranting about this to my pillow, I'd say I hate Julian with my entire heart, but the truth is, I don't really hate him. I... *tries to be civilized* dislike him. Julian was too 2D for me. I understand how people could like him with Lena, and I get that he's been taught what to believe in his whole life, but his tragic past doesn't make up for the lack of an original, lovable character (in my opinion). Maybe I would have liked him more if Oliver had written him... better, I suppose, and gave him features/traits that actually held meaning (for example, did Julian's eyes really have to change color? If Rhysand's star-flecked violet eyes corresponds with the Night Court, what is Julian? High Lord of Rainbows and Unicorns? Yes, I know I'm not being fair... SHH).The other thing is the uncomfortable feeling I received from reading the "shower-under-the-grate" scene in Pandemonium. Some people call that awkwardness that was expected for someone like Julian, but honestly, it *slightly* unnerved me that Julian inspected and regarded Lena as nothing more than an animal in those few moments. Does the line, "Your waist is so small," seem completely normal to you...?
Basically, what I'm trying to say is that, in this point in the development of YA books, please forgive me if I tend to prefer more original characters than yet another kind, sweet, internally strong guy with pretty eyes and not a trace of realistic flaws and/or emotions in him.
