I was so disappointed with Lena! I mean I'm team Alex and I'm glad she picked him but I felt sorry for Julian. I honestly think Requiem didn't measure up to Pandemonium and that didn't measure up to Delirium. I just felt the entire thing including the love triangle was a fail. It was obvious she was going to end up with Alex.

I would just like to say... I loved Alex and truthfully I want him go end up with Lena. But the truth is he wont. Well if what I have learned from every other author first loves just that, your first love. Not your last. Even though I will probably not have the patience to sit through A whole other book, i will look up spoilers on the last book. I just can't imagin reading a whole other book to be disappointed with the ending. If Lena choses Julian even though I think she will, I will be very disappointed.

Alex, DUH! Think of it like this. Would you want to be with someone you've know for a week or someone you've known for months? Alex spent the time to get Lena through the border. That's hardcore love: knowing that even though he may not survive she would! That's all that mattered to him. Julian was like a helpless baby crying for a mother to help him through this time. No thanks! Sure Lena did "fall in love" with him; he was more of a stand-in really. She missed Alex and I understand how she could put Julian in his place. Julian couldn't have ever replaced Alex, never, ever.

I've finished Requiem so I knew who ends up with who. However, Requiem in no way measured up to Pandemonium and Pandemonium in no way measured up to Delirium. I love Delirium and it was the best book in the series in my opinion.
