Thats true too when you think about it Lena is the "Julian" in Delirium. Honestly though Lena is to me a lot more...ambitious (I use that word a lot) in Delirum then Julian although she was very damsel-in-distress like she was still a strong character and thought for herself. Like when she went to those uncured parties I'm sure she could have met other "uncured" boys and she experienced the whole uncured thing even before she met Alex. But Julian NEVER experienced any uncured activities or like I said before even touching a girl before.

ALEX all the way he was her first love and he introduced her to everything about the wilds he will always be her true love even with julian standing beside her.

Yeah but to be fair Lena didnt have a controlling ass as a father, or cancer to deal with so saying Julian isnt as strong as Lena is a load of crap. Just because Julian and Alex's problems were completely different doesnt mean either person went through any less, but the thing that makes Julian, and Lena for that matter, stronger in my eyes is that they went against EVERYTHING they had been taught, Alex never had to. Who's to say we woudnt have been exactly the same if we'ed grown up the way Lena and Julian did believing that love is a desease. xxx
Ehhhhhhh, I'm going to with Alex. In delirium Alex and Lena had a better chemistry and in pandemonium I feel like Lena was looking for Alex in Julian and that's how she feel in "love" again. I don't lol I just can't wait till the next book.
I need more information to lean on to. Frankly, I don't think I can judge them both by just basing from two books - without those further challenges ahead. And I want to know how would they deal about Lena! I mean, this is serious. If I were Lena, I would have collapsed on the spot the moment Alex turned up.Let's see in Requiem who Lena really deserves (and vice-versa).

Yeah Julian did have a controlling father and that cancer thing but again to me he lacked ambition. Thinking outside-the-box yes I have a controlling father and I will probally die in the next year but what can I DO about it. How can I PREVENT it. He had been more like that then I would like him more.

Maybe now Julian's not being watched 24/7 he can finally DO something about it, besides i think your being harsh, are you seriously saying you would go against your father, who you love despite everything obviously, how was Julian meant to know everything he was doing was wrong, he was brought up believing love was bad, and so was Lena, neither of them thought any differently until they fell in love themselves and experienced it. Alex never had to go through that because he always knew, i think its stronger for someone to go against everything like Julian did. Plus how was Julian meant to escape with being watched by loads of guards, unless he's a ninja. It's all circumstantial, both boys had COMPLETELY different lives, yet i feel like both are strong in their induvidual way. I just think Lena and Julian understnad eachother more and would be better together as equals in the long run, but ho knows, i'll wait and see in the next book, maybe i'll end up liking Alex ;) xxx

No question about it: Julien! His relationship with Lena seemed more believable and their pasts are more similar. I think Alex is different, somehow. I don't know who wants what anymore, which makes me want Requiem all the more!
well julian and lena do come from the same background but i dont see them together i see them as being friends but with alex and lena its intense and i wish they would get back together because he was the first person she said 'i love you' to.
i believe that the next book is going to be super duper awkard!

Alex rocks, he sacrificed so much for Lena! But I wonder if being captured had changed anything in him... Honestly, Julian is not that coolio and macho (unlike Alex), but he IS Lena's love interest now, and Lena already thought that Alex had died. And if she goes with Alex, then I think doubts will always exist between them. On the other hand, for Julian, since he knew about Alex before falling in love with Lena, their relationship would be quite stable. So what I think is that although Alex is more deserving of Lena, I think Lena should choose Julian... Sorry don't blame me that's just what I think. The best would be if Lena could practice bigamy like the China emperors and be with both of them. Or maybe she shouldnt engage in romantic relationships with both of them, but just be very good friends, and all three of them can be BFFs!

Do you not know what he has done for the resistance? He was the face of the DFA for young people! And he chose love! He chose to be executed rather than cured. Then his dad was killed by Raven. I mean, Julian is not my choice for Lena, but he is super important and doesn't deserve all this hate. These books are a lot deeper than Alex vs Julian.
I love Julian but i also Love Alex. I think he changed though he seems different so hes prob not the same so i would definitly choose Julian.
