I think of this as Alex he loved Lena... and she betrayed him.. Julian needs love but Lena loved Alex they had a very special connection and Julian ruined it..

Absolutely Team Alex over here. I so feel like they'll end up together in the end. He was her first love and it so overtook the both of them it felt so strong. Julian's moments with Lena throughout Pandemonium felt more like moments of lust and missing Alex rather than a newly blossoming love.

I love Julian. Alex didnt grow in my opinion he was just there for lena. Julian grew and relized what he believed isnt true and that there society is brain washing everyone. Alex was just there for me.

I Agree ALENA ALL THE WAY...Lena was just lonely and what happened in the room that they were locked in they started to get to know each other. You could say Alex built Lena as in confidence he helped her through-out the troubles... Alex made sure that Lena made it into the WILDS safely without harm! He sacrificed his life for her...he came back looking for a HAPPY LENA but say Julian and Lena saying that they LOVE each other... but they couldn't if i saw my Love dead i would be scared out of my mind!!! Though if i saw him in flesh, alive again i would hug him until I died... I know everyone is saying Julian is the right man..HE CERTAINLY IS NOT!!! HE CAN NOT GIVE LENA WHAT SHE WANTS AND NEEDS but alex can. I was soo mad with the second book I was like...this CAN NOT BE THE ENDING I was just waiting for some mystery pages to appear and show me the real ending!! The 3rd book has to have the perfect ending wih Alex*>ALENA<3 ALL THE WAY!!

Alex, but all the points made about Julian are valid too, and I respect them. There's something about being with Julian, though, that makes me feel as if Lena would be betraying Alex (even though she thought he was dead).
