I have always been an Alex fan but Julian hasnt done anything wrong. However I think Lena used her feelings for Alex and misplaced them for Julian. I am an Alex fan!! Cannot keep waiting for Requiem.

I agree! He seemed to be a changed person! I LOVED and adored Alex in Delirium but Lena literally just promised that she would be with Julian forever! And I like his backround story better too... I think he's been through a lot more and come much farther.

omg after reading some of different peoples views i dont know what to think... but tbh Lena (and most readers) did think Alex was dead until the end of the book and yeah now she's moved and they've both changed.. and maybe Alex should put himself in Lena's shoes, he cant seriously expect her just to turn her feeling off for Julian.. i suppose now that Alex is back her feelings for him are gonna reignite and thats understandable. tbh, i sortof want her to get back with Alex because what they had, to me seemed beautiful, whereas with Lena and Julian it seemed more forced maybe? (and in my head Alex is hotter :L) anyway.. I'm sure in the end I'll feel that she made the right decision, (i hope i do anyway, i dont feel i could be angry at Lena) and she may even end up with another guy yet... cant be doing with waiting this long for the next one! :D

I'm usually a fan of love triangles-but not when they appear in the second book! *Sighs* I mean, if I liked the first book already without a love triangle, why does the second book need one to be as wonderful as the first? Maybe authors should quit making the heroine and hero singing their, "I love yous" in the first book, and actually get the main characters to get to know each other during the other two/three/five books; extending their love stories over the stretch of three/four/five books. Some books don't even need to do that-like by the end of Delirium, I thought the love story was perfect. Instead of inserting a love triangle in the second book, though, I thought Lauren Oliver should've made it that Lena searches for her mother, and sees if Alex is dead or alive. Maybe even get to know more about the invalids. Sure, it wouldn't be as romantic as Delirium, but it'll also kinda show us how Lena can grow stronger. Don't get me wrong, I'm a major romantic, but I really guess I'm just getting so sick of love triangles, and how they render some of the heroines as kinda shallow and feeble. :/ I'm just asking for a strong girl character who can kick butt! :/

I Agree with you 100% Love Triangle= Bad, Terrible, Annoying,Overdone, Cheap, etc.

I just want to point out that though I am in no way against reading books with strong female protagonists, it seems as if a lot of the YA fiction out there is always from the same point of view: First Person Teenage Female. At least, the ones that I see a lot anyway. There's Hunger Games, Divergent, Legend, Cinder,Delirium,Clockwork Angel( I think), Enclave, Daughter of Smoke and Bone(this one counts because it follows Karou most of the book), Blood Red Road, Marked, etc. Im not saying it's a bad thing, I just think it would be cool to see a good YA book from a guys perspective.

Alex all the way!!!! He made the story the one that captured my heart, i didn't feel I could connect with Julian the way I did with Alex, he didn't seem real. Go Alex!!!!!!!! My hope for the last book is Julian dies and Alex and Lena live happily ever after :)

I completely agree its always the "teenage girl" thing in YA books its hard to find a book with a male POV (which I love!) That's why I was so dissapointed when I found out the second POV in Requiem will be Hana's. I really wanted Alex's POV :'(

I'll be honest i like Julian as a person, he seems genuine and the kind of boy i'd like to meet, i really hope that Lauren Oliver isn't obvious an kills off Julian, that would make it look like a huge cop out just to get Lena and Alex back together.

Im not saying i don't like Alex it's just that i didn't really feel a strong connection with him in Delirium, so i think i was honestly the only person not all that bothered if he was alive or not, not that i didnt think what he did to save Lena wasn't noble and great because it was. I just think Julian is more my type, i'll admit im a sucker for blue eyed boys.

As i said before i dont really mind WHO Lena ends up with, but i do think that even if Alex and Lena did get back together it would be a long road to getting back what they had origionally, im not sure how much Alex has changed as we only got about 2 seconds of him in Pandemonium, but i disagree with anyone who says that Lena hasn't changed, because in a lot of way she has, how could she not. But i think it's more like she's herself still, just....MORE, stronger, wiser, better in a sense, at least i liked her more. And if anyone doesn't think that will affect her relationship with Alex then they are being blindsighted by there fangirl love for Alex, not his and Lena's actual relationship. But this is only my opinion, anyone else feel free to argue. xxx
