Release Date for Epub in Canada? Hardcopy already out!

I am annoyed that the hardcover for this book was already release a couple of weeks ago - and I've found no information online about the epub release date (except a March 1 date on the Lauren Oliver website, but that looked sorta suspect, since there was no image beside the book name). Amazon.com has the Kindle edition released on Feb. 28 (and it can be pre-ordered and delivered to your Kindle on that date) - I have a Kobo (which takes epub books) and can't find that book on the Kobo website or the Sony website. Does anyone know when and if I can get the ePub version of this book? Does anyone know how it's possible that Canada got the hardcover book weeks ago - and why a digital copy is release AFTER the hardcover? I am sure it's at the publisher's wish, but this is new to me - I thought all the ePubs came out first. Any info on the topic would be much appreciated. I am dying to read this book but I don't want to buy the hardcover...thanks!
