question
A question about the resolution (Big spoiler included)

Seriously, don't read this if you haven'y yet read the book...
Ok. When Bobby jacks that last time, how does he end up with Virek in the Spain simulation? Was this set up somewhere and I missed it? It HAS to happen, to tie up both the stories, but I don't quite see why!

Don't the voodoo gods break him through so that they can get Virek?
It is arranged by the Loa - fragments spawned from the unified Wintermute/Neuromancer AI now acting freely in the Matrix - to accomplish their goal of remaining unsubverted by human agents.
Virek has the monetary reach and clout to acquire all the W/N hardware, which Tessier-Ashpool has lost control over. Why Bobby is needed for this is unclear, but it seems that the Loa at this point in time still require living, human accomplices to achieve their ends.

I believe it's an accident, Virek just want Angela because she is the experimental product, that's why his company created a black wall surround the Jammer's in matrix to prevent Angela to go online, that's why when Bobby/Jackie died immediately when they were trying to go out to find Jaylene, but somehow Bobby survived and broke into Virek's SimStim...
