Dear Ms. Rincon,
I am reading Hunger Games and i am currently on page 180. The way my book compares to the Kite Runner is that both the narrators dislike the way the country is being run. Amir does not like the fact that his country is a republic. Katniss hates the fact that her country, or district, forces people to compete in games that can kill them. One, out of many, diffences they have is that they have totally different time periods. The Kit Runner took place throught the 1900's. The Hunger Games takes place in the future. I think that all book have things in common no matter if it's something noticable or hard to find. You just have to pay attention and authenticlly read it and you will make connections like these.
