Now It's Time To Say Goodbye - amazes me every time, the only book i have ever read 4 times and still find fascinating

Don Quixote - life is better with don in your head

East of Eden - this and Cannery Row are just brilliant

there's countless others (Goodmorning Midnight by Jean Rhys, Ulysseys by Joyce, Lunar Park by Brett Eastern Ellis, From Hell by Alan Moore, Waterland by Graham Swift and so on) but these are the 3 that I mention the most often
