Ellen: Thanks for the review. I read this book years ago and really enjoyed it. And, FYI I have a copy of the book signed by Chuck Yeager if you can believe it. I found it in a used bookstore in Charlottesville, VA and bought it. I can't believe someone who had this signed copy gave it up but now I have it. SPP

Sheesh, I just found this message. So sorry, I'm not real adept at navigating Goodreads. Autographed copy, that is so cool! I read the book, saw the movie. The book is always better.
I used to read Clive Cussler a lot, but haven't in years. Anyway, the movie Sahara was so wrong. The characters did not match the book. I'll stick to books.
