I loved his short story Eugénie de Franval. Justine is certainly heavy going. I'm glad I read it, but I could never read it again.

Not my bag baby. I thought it would be scandalous and scintillating, but instead found it dull and moralizing. I'll not be picking up another of his works either.
I could not finish it because I was bored of the same things going on and on! It was quite dissapointing how simple his language was as well. Still I wish I knew how it ends... does it have a good end?
