Always nice to start with 5 stars :-))

Firstly I have to reiterate that this book is best read AFTER Gray Justice (Tom Gray #1) as it picks up the story from the end of that book.
Our hero is now living under an assumed identity and has just started forging himself some kind of new life, and then the proverbial hits the fan and we are whisked into a roller coaster of an action packed thriller with, like the first book, a bit of political intrigue to keep the story line going...
I thought the action sequences in GJ1 were well written. In this book, the author has simply surpassed himself with the quality of his writing. His research again is (to the best of my knowledge) faultless and also makes for an interesting educational aside during the setting up of the action at the start of the book.
Apparently, Mr McDermott is well into the next in the series, and I for one can't wait.

I'll keep banging away at GJ3!
Alan

Can I suggest you set up a New Release thread as it would give your book more exposure.

I'm afraid it is a little bit too old to qualify for our 'New release' thread.......

I'm so glad you liked both books :-)) If you could be good enough to leave a rating and/or review (both would be really appreciated) it will also help with exposure.
As Simon pointed out, these books are a bit old for a New Releases thread, but I will be sure to post one for the final Tom Gray episode, which I hope to have ready towards the end of the year.
So glad to have made yet another reader happy :-)

Can't see it on the store page.

How's GJ3 coming along? Not that I am eager or nagging or anything, merely wondering... ;)"
Sorry Hun, but I'm only about 5000 words in. Have had so many things to do recently. Don't worry, though, I have the story scoped out, it's just about fitting all the pieces together :-))
Hoping to have it ready for autumn at the latest.
Cheers,
Alan

I have been checking out some of the recommends from my twitter feed - the AHA list is quite useful to us readers too. I sneak a peek every so often... great idea :)

the AHA list is going to be replaced in the near future as it isn't quite working. When I open the list it shows me 200 teweets from the last person to be added and I have to wait forever to see some new ones. I think we are just going to be using a new hashtag in our tweets - #HYFA2, which means Help Your Fellow Authors Too, so watch out for that one.
All the best,
Alan

i find just looking through the list of members is a good way to find new authors to sample, so maybe worth keeping the list and using it differently, and also use a hashtag when tweeting?
just a thought :)

Hope you get lots of exposure Alan.
Any date for book 3?

Thanks for the extra exposure, too. I need all the help I can get :-)
