if u just delete the HoN..after the 3rd book the story gets so boring it's a pretty good list!!but i would also recommend the hush hush series,the mortal insrtuments or the vampire diaries series..n' sth more girlish like the sisterhood of the travelling pants or the princess diaries!!hope i've helped!!:]

I loved house of night. I liked it more than twilight. I read all the books that are currently out in 1 and a half weeks. Super addictive.

okay, this is kind of out there, but maybe try 'The Alexandria Quartet' warning: its not LIKE twilight, i just think its a really good and smart serious. its set in egypt in the 30s, and - to me- the writing is amazing. some people think its silly, i think its beautiful...

the forbidden game series, dark visions, the nightworld series, the serecret circle books are also good, honestly i loved every one of these books more then all the books in twilight put together, You might also like the book beautiful creatures which i have on my booklist although to be frank i wasnt a huge fan of that one but lots of others are, christoper pikes remeber me is good, not really about vampires but its about ghosts and i really loved it, and r l stine has some really good fear street books (i think the ones you would like best are a collection called the fear street saga, that should be enough to get you started for a while along with all the great books others have recommended

I can't get enough of Jack and Silver in this new series by K. C. Blake:



It is different with a boy vampire turning mortal again and still having to fight werewolves. His girlfriend kicks serious butt and his younger brother is now older than him. LOL
It made me laugh, sometimes almost cry, and I was on the edge of my seat.

I liked A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray. The trilogy isn't about vampires but it was equally entertaining and mind tickling. Also, read A Certain Slant of Light by Laura Whitcomb. Amazing book.

I also really love the sookie stackhouse series and actually also prefer it to twilight, the vampires are more traditional meaning no sunlight walking lol and these books were intended for older readers so its right up my ally

I thought the same thing when I first read The Twilight Saga. I even re-read it before finally moving on to something else. I found that there are tons of books that are just as addicting. Do you have a particular genre in mind because my next favorite series of all time is The Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R. Ward. I have read most everything listed above too and really enjoyed them all as well. The Hunger Games and The Vampire Academy especially.

Vampire Kisses is a good choice, IMHO. Hard to put down, very funny, great characters, very sweet believable romance. It may be a little less simple than Twilight, which won't appeal to everyone, but it's still easy to read. Why don't you give that a shot?

Alright,what you have to understand is that books like Twilight or for that matter any book by Stephenie Meyer do not have any literary sense.They are just boring rants and such.Start reading better books like Harry Potter and such.Ciao.

After reading Twilight, i thought other were books were ok-ish,but i absolutely LOVED the Tiger's Curse series WAAAAYYYY more than Twilight! They are AMAZING!!!!!

Yea Harry Potter! Another addicting series! It actually got me back into reading!

However I don't are with your opinion of Twilight. I will say that Harry Potter is better written and has more deepth than Twilight, but I still LOVE my Cullens! They are so different. I can't see how people compare the two, they aren't even the same genre!

I also own all the House of Night books, another guilty pleasure! I just love the world of vampires! No matter who created the world. Anne Rice, Twilight, House of Night, Vladimir Todd, Black Dagger Brotherhood, Sookie Stackhouse! There are too many to read, so little time!!!!

I'm definitely with Kandice on Host by Stephenie Meyer. I kind of forced myself to give it a try and I actually ended up enjoying it as much as Twilight. I hear she will be writing a sequel soon and I simply cannot wait! I found another addicting series to be The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanna Collins as well as the Divergent trilogy by Veronica Roth.

Hunger Games is Very Good! What is Divergent about?

Oh! Without any spoilers it is very similar to The Hunger Games being that the lead character is a teen girl and, like Hunger Games, it is a dystopian novel but if I say anymore, it'd ruin the ride! It's a definite page-turner. I actually enjoyed it more than the Hunger Games. It is set to be a trilogy and I am dying for the sequel which is to be published some time in 2012. Give it a try! You won't regret it!

Theres this book call Immortal: Love Stories with a Bite and its by a lot of vampire authors who pretty much mashed up all their stories together, i think you'd really like it

it was REALLY BAD at first, but later, i reallly liked it, so give it another chance, or do what i do, skip the parts you dont like
