q do you feel that BIGS lacked a certain amount of depth, is that why you are planning your next book in more detail?

q Can you tell us what your new book is going to be about?
Q: are you able to have any say/influence around the movie & its' development? I would imagine that you have a view of what Claire and the other characters would look like ( as do I ) so I'm wondering who you would choose for some of the actors?
Q Your name (S.J.) and the book's promotional website don't identify you as a man (although obviously you are). Was it difficult to write this novel as a man, since so much of it takes place in a woman's head?

The voice was very believable. Well done SJ. I really felt that the author was a woman. Hopefully you don't take that as an offense.

Do you have any advice for people wanting to write their first novel?
I wish the volume levels were more level. SJ Watson was soft compared to moderator, who was LOUD. Please figure out how to make them similar so I can enjoy the conversation next time. Loved getting to hear from the author. Wonderful session.
