I finished Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince yesterday, and now I took from my library Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 😺
I'm reading "The Hazel Wood" by Melissa Albert. It's frustrating. It could be sooooo good, but it isn't so far. I really liked the writing--in the first chapters, but then the dragging plot, excessive flashbacks, and multiply descriptions/recounting of the same thing began wearing on me.The biggest problem is I don't like the protag. Alice. She's just... ugh. Oh, well I shall soldier on. The premise is great btw, and the horror aspect is beginning to take prominence, which sets my little heart a beating, so we will see.

I just finished The Wicked King. Phenomenal! Even better than The Cruel Prince. I can not wait until we all can discuss it together! The tension was so high that I was physically shaking.
Just finished
. Loved the entire series. Sarah J. Maas did an amazing job of tying all the other books into the last in a satisfying way.
