I'm currently trying to get through the chaos of stars. I've read that the main character grows a lot later in the book, but she is so frustrating at first that I'm finding it hard to read. Ugh.. I just want it off of my TBR shelf!
Recently finished
and
(Both Great!) currently reading
(Really weird). Next up
.So happy to see all the love for the
,
, and
series. Great books!
I just recently finished Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz. This book was wonderful and is on my favorites list.I'm now reading I'll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson and listening to Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library by Chris Grabenstein on audiobook. Both are very good so far.
So I've recently finished Wake and Fade, and I finally managed to get through The Chaos of Stars. I checked out Graceling from my library, and surprisingly I started and finished it tonight! I loved it so much that I've reserved and am picking up the other two books in the series tomorrow, along with Finnikin of the Rock. I'm excited to finish the one series and to start the other! I've also got a want to read list on my library account, just waiting to be reserved!
Oh, and I'm also currently listening to Sabriel by Garth Nix on audiobook. I'm about 3 1/2 hours in. Not my first time reading it, but it is my first time listening to it. He is my favorite author and the Old Kingdom Chronicles are my favorite books.
I finished
last night, and while it sounded kind of interesting, I am surprised at how much I loved it. Very, very good. Most of you folks should read, but fans of The Monstrumologist series absolutely should.Up next,
, which I just know is superhero related and had Stan Lee's name on the cover.
I'm reading "Daughter of Smoke and Bone" (the first book in the series) i'm at 118 pages now about 30%.
I'm currently reading "Through Cloud and Sunshine" by Dean Hughes. I only just started so I can't say whether or not it's good, but most of Hughes' books have been very good.
I'm reading Nimona It is so good! I really recommend it to everyone!
Also reading The Peace Chief: A Novel for school.
Cate wrote: "I'm currently reading the heir by Kiera Cass."Is it good? I liked the series but I am hesitant about spending my money on this one..
almost finished with Northanger Abbey and then starting The Luminaries ^_^ no YA atm. I am eyeing up The Daughter of Smoke and Bone Trilogy as I've heard it's extremely well written.
I just started reading Fangirl last night, it's so good! Admittedly I prefer Eleanor & Park (at the moment), but I'm still really enjoying it
I gave up on
. I wanted to love it, I really did. A superhero novel series for kids that Stan Lee helped put together, sprinkled with really, really good comic style art throughout. almost 200 pages in though and I was just bored the whole time :/I started
and am now a bit over halfway done with it. I am loving it WAY more than anticipated. Pleasant surprise for a book I picked up based strictly on thinking the cover was cool and having an interest in necromancy from video games I've played haha.
Still trying to tackle Les Miserables...just finished Anna Karenina and loved every page of it and reread my guilty pleasure (50 shades) to get me back in Le Mis.
