This, in my opinion, is the best dystopian series out there!

Storm Arashi (stormarashi) | 265 comments I just love reading atmospheric books. It was snowing when I was reading Tabula Rasa which was AWESOME!

And now I'm trying to read Scarlet before the thing expires

Storm Arashi (stormarashi) | 265 comments Well I have Scarlet for awhile longer it seems, but since it seems I'm coming down with something...Picked up these from the library so I can curl up with a good book and relax:

The Infernal Devices Clockwork Angel; Clockwork Prince; Clockwork Princess (The Infernal Devices, #1-3) by Cassandra Clare

And: The Mortal Instruments Boxed Set City of Bones; City of Ashes; City of Glass (The Mortal Instruments, #1-3) by Cassandra Clare

I'm still gonna try to work on Scarlet... And this is a bit of a guilt confession but I actually own a copy of Clockwork Angel in Paperback, but I don't have the other two Infernal Devices books so I figure this way I can marathon read. (Saving my gift card, still can't decide what to buy)

Lol. I don't fully blame you on this. I loved Cinder so much and was a little disappointed by the second book. Oh well, they can't all be as good as the first.

Side note, Infernal Devices is amazing. You're going to love the last book!

I did start Clockwork Angel but I'm wondering if I should read City of Bones first... I saw the City of Bones film, but I'm sure there's bits and pieces cut out.

I read the Mortal Instruments series first, but I started reading Clockwork Angel before the last book of MI came out. I'm glad I read Infernal Devices before the last book of MI because it referenced characters that you only really knew from ID. In the end, it doesn't actually matter what series you read first, but you will probably want to read ID before you get to the end of MI - if that makes any sense, lol!

It totally does. XD I think I'll try to read ID first since I already started it and it's shorter and that way I can enjoy the Mortal Instruments in the fullest

XD I've heard so many good things about the series, I'm excited to read them both.

Sarah | 7 comments I'm reading Bones of Faerie (Bones of Faerie, #1) by Janni Lee Simner and listening to Everlost (Skinjacker, #1) by Neal Shusterman . I'm mixed on the first one and liking the second one more than I thought. It's kind of MG, which isn't my thing but still good.

Honestly, I would read 2-3 of The Mortal Instruments books first, then start on The Infernal Devices. Definitely read the last book of TID before you read the last book in the TMI series. That makes the most sense and you'll be able to appreciate everything properly.

How are you liking it so far? I enjoy the way Stephanie Myers writes, in spite of all of the hype that surrounds the Twilight series - her book, The Host, is one of my favorites, and I love the way she writes emotions :)

You know, it's funny, I tried to read Twilight maybe 3 years ago, and I couldn't stand how whiny Bella was so about halfway through the book I couldn't take it anymore and stopped, ha ha ha. But now I'm loving it! So glad I gave it another chance.

I'll have to read The Host once I finish the Twilight series!
